How would Byrd have done at Middleweight/Light Heavy?

    If he would have started and stayed lighter during his prime, how would he have been?

    That is actually a good question. He was totally shot by the time he went back down to LHW. After fight Wlad twice among many others, not too many people would have had much left in the tank.

    I am not a boxing expert, so I have no idea how he would have done. Just wanted to add my two cents.

    Makes me think he should have been chasing after Roy and Calzaghe at 168.

    Probably not that great. He relied on his quickness as a heavyweight, and as a light heavy or super middle, he wouldn't have had a quickness advantage to exploit.

    True but he wouldnt of had such a deficit in the power department as well, making it more even all around. Plus he had a lot of talent.

    it's hard to say, he was a very good fighter in his youth but was his style a product of his ability or was his style a product of the weight he fought at? Byrd spent far too much time at HW to really tell.
