I wont deny that I get very annoyed by people acting as if Calzaghe's fogotten and no one cares about him when in fact there is a great deal of evidence to prove that he remains one of the most debated topics on boxing forums. It seems to me to be a needless, pointless and petty thing to say, not to forget to completely unfounded.

That asside, I didn't object to you making a comment about a fighter, I merely pointed out how hypocritcal it was to say no one cared about him when you just posted a big sarcastic comment about how amusing you found it that some people do think him a great fighter and you dont, how you made a point of commenting on how ridiculous you thought it was that anyone could consider him anything other than a joke. Saying that no one "gives a **** about" him was the only bit I had a problem with for reasons I've already explained.

I'm also American... before someone else on here accuses me of being some Brit (even though Wales is UK! I have a passport lol) fanboy.

Listen partner, if you hold this guy in high regard, good for you! It's absolutely your right. I however do not!! The point of my post was one, it seems as the general consensus is that no fighter past or present could even come close to defeating Joe, which entertains me, as do the people who get upset at the fact that there are others who don't share their opinion. People can find him a great fighter all they want, people are entitled to their opinions, I'm A Ok with that! Secondly, and to the part that disturbed you, my generalization that nobody cares about Joe was just that. A broad generalization. You obviously seem to care about Slappy Joe so there you go. The "irony" or "hypocrisy" that you claim unfortunately doesn't exist. You can have the last word though....

So a speedy trickster does well against a slow robot

How exactly does that prepare him for the endless stamina and lightning speed of the Newbridge Assassin?

:deal I agree with almost all of your post, but Ward yes he'd give Calzaghe a challenge but Calzaghe would pull away on the scorecards due to his Stamina and workrate which is 2 times that of Wards

    He would still be undefeated..

Ward would be the closest fight be he is not even close to Calzaghe skill wise.
Also Calzaghe comfortably out works him, solid UD Calzaghe.

Still the best SMW of all time...:deal

he beat's them all vs Ward and Bute would be closer fight but calzaghe wins

    beat already prime Kessler
    Froch is too slow
Abraham throws only 10 punches a round easy UD Calzaghe
Dirrell and Bute are mentally weak
Calzaghe would improve during the Ward fight and finds a way to win via late tko or UD
    Stieglitz

Bute and Ward could give him some problems but in the end Calzaghe wins at least 116-112 or something like that
