There is a chance he would have lost a fight, I would favor him to win the tournament though at the point of when he retired...

    I voted Ward though.

I voted Ward, but Abraham always has a puncher's chance.

He would be to much of a challenge for all 6 in their first fight (except Kessler) but some of them could probably beat him in a second fight!

Ward, maybe. The others would embarrass themselves as they were dominated.

Is that why Joe never gave rematches except for the guy he KOed in one round?

He soundly beat Kessler.....and as Emmanuel Steward said the night of the fight.......Kessler should not think of a rematch......

Abraham has a punchers chance.......Ward has youth.......Dirrell would run all night long and Froch would get humbled (if possible).

I don't think any of them would beat Joe.

Good call, and Calzaghe knows this. He always was very adamant that he doesnt do re-matches.

A little story: I used to be a pro computer-game player for about half a year. I won the national championship in Tekken 3. Then I played some other tournaments. One of them was Singapore Tekken Challenge, where I finished second. I had basically tought myself the game, and my style was very different to the other guys I met in the tournaments. However, after meeting them several times, they started figuring my style out and I started losing more and more.

My point is that Calzaghe would be very very difficult to beat for someone in the first fight, but in a re-amtch their chances would go up significantly. They would be much wiser regarding Joe's style, while Joe would not have learned much new because they are more conventional anyway.

    Joe Average,

What kind of confidence are they gonna have going into a RE, if they got schooled like Kessler did or took a beating like Lacy did?

Ward has the best chance, but I'm picking Joe.
