    Ok, in my opinion.

Kirkland is dangerous early on, but that’s all he has. If Canelo remains cautious and weathers the storm (maybe even getting a knockdown of his own in the process), he'll handle him easier as the fight goes on. He’s far more skilled and has more to his game. Kirkland’s just a brawler.

Makes me laugh how Kirkland goes from Glass Jawed Fraud to a unstoppable beast in the space of 1 fight

That's the part that most intrigues me as well; Canelo out of his comfort zone.

I imagine he would shatter his disgraceful glass jaw.

From what I've seen of both fighters Canelo is 20 levels above and would lay Kirkland out once again... and I would LOVE to see it

The difference in Kirkland in his last two fights is down to one person Anne Wolfe.
Kirkland took the best Angulo had to offer till Angulo punched himself out because Wolfe put Kirkland through hell & got him prepared to do the distance . Angulo trained for a short fight.
The main reason Kirkland didnt fold was because he knew if he did he'd have to face the wrath of Anne Wolfe afterwards & Anne could probably kick Kirklands ass herself LOL

He would handle him much quicker if Kirkland comes in like he did against Angulo.

Kirkland does have a bad chin and is actually made for a counter puncher like Alvarez. It is funny how like someone mentioned he went from being a joke to being an unbeatable fighter in one fight. Specially against a guy who basically sat on the sidelines for over a year.

Kirkland is no monster and to tell you the truth I do not think he even gets past Molina. IMO Molina should be the one facing Alvarez on May 5th.

One thing I would like to point out about Alvarez-Kirkland not happening is that it is not due to Alvarez losing to him. Golden Boy promotes both fighters so they win either way. If Alvarez fights and destroys Kirkland within a few rounds Golden Boy is out 1 possible superstar. If Kirkland destroys Canelo so what!? He is already a superstar and his type of fans the Mexican fans do not care about a perfect record. We like someone that comes to fights and gives a good show.

Really the one that is being protected from that match not happening is Kirkland. Not Canelo like people like to pretend.

I might have agreed with you before the Angulo fight but it appears that his life experience has equipped him with a new resolve.

Like Ishida-just be accurate with punches-Ishida looked like Pacman when he beat Kirkland.

Kirkland has glass jaw and is easily beatable.

because of one fight? What happens if El Perro didn't tire himself-look how easy Kirkland is to hit...Canelo is accurate-

Canelo by KO in 2 over Kirkland-itta be a similar ko to pacman knocking Hatton

Kirkland comes out fast and aggressive, Canelo is a bit of a slow starter. I don't see canelo stopping kirkland early. Kirkland has a lot of heart which shouldn't go underestimated. His skill set is low. He's wild and reckless. Canelo hasn't faced anyone as good as kirkland so it's a test for him and kirk's KO record is solid he can bang. Could be a Berto vs Ortiz type of fight.
