How Would Chad Dawson Do As A HeavyWeight?

Dawson has the body type to get to 210-220. He could easily fill out, if he did it right, of course. (IE: Not eating cheeseburgers to get to Heavyweight)

And he'd do fine. He do just as well, as say, an Alexander Povetkin. He could be a titleholder, top 10 guy, but couldn't beat either Klitschko.

 

Chad Dawson would beat Tyson Fury.

 

I think he would do great. top 10 easy

Holyfield, Michael Moorer, Adamek, Haye, Huck, Chris Byrd, Eddie Chambers have all done OK

 

Virgil Hill likes to tell people that Andre Ward will be HW Champion.

 

Emmanuel Steward worked with Dawson and said he only sees him fighting at smw, lhw, and cruiserweight.

Maybe Dawson will become a heavy in his mid 30s as suggested above, but he's not likely to become a champ in a division with Klitschko size heavies.

If he makes the most of his ability Dawson should win a cruiser belt someday.

 

If Dawson moved to HW he'd TKO Wlad in 4 rounds max.

If Wlad got a tan, turned soutpaw and fought with a touch of the flu, he'd be Chad Dawson.

 

He'd also have to change his name to Chad Dawson. :think

 

He would box big gigantic crop circles around any Heavyweight currently ranked in the top 10 outside of Wlad.

 

His chin wouldn't hold up against Wlad/Vitali. He could win a trinket belt from Povetkig, but that would be about as meaningful as Roy Jones beating Ruiz.

When he came out, many of you idiots baptized him like the second coming of Jesus H. Christ. Then he fizzled out like he is supposed to.

He does not have a killer instinct and way hell boring as a fighter. Infact,if gayweather is so boring, Dawson raised it even more to a different level.

 

Big Dawson fan, but he would not do well at HW. I don't even think he would do that well at CW.
