How would current LHW champ Chad Dawson fair against these past LHW champs?

    Diaconu, Hopkins, Tarver, and Johnson were all former champions too. Hopkins>>>>>Garay, that's not even a question. Hopkins at 47 would beat Erdei's ass. Johnson, Diaconu, and Tarver would beat Erdei too.

    He beats Maske quite easily
    Michalczewski is a 50/50 fight
    Beats Erdei in a close fight
    He beats Tiozzo handily
    Hill has a great chance to outfight Dawson, so i say Hill
    Rocchigiani is not that great, Dawson UD
    Dawson possibly stops Clinton Woods
    Dawson dominates Lalonde who is beyond average


    To be honest this isnt a great thread. There could have been much better and tougher matchups considering how deep and great the LHW division has been in history. Dawson probably would lose to all ATG at lHW but it would be interesting to see who he could give a tough fight to. I reckon Chad beats Maxim!

    I think he beats both of those guys. Hill is overated. He lost to a way past prime Hearns and was blasted out in three rounds against Jones. Glen Kelly did better than that

    Darius lost to Gonzalez, who was at best pedestrain. Chad could execute a simliar fight plan as he did during the last 6 rounds against Johnson I

    So because Hill coming off a loss was blasted out in 4 round by Jones, you make a pointless note to say Kelly did better :nut. Do you think it makes someone like Kelly a better fighter?
    R Duran was blasted out in 2 rounds by Hearns when alot of other fighters lasted longer, so what are you trying to say?
