Even non-Brits must accept David Haye was a dynamite cruiserweight, one of the very hardest punchers pound-for-pound in the world right now. Now that he's moving up, how do you think he will do against the top heavyweights?

How did Joe Louis do against the super-heavies of his time? Yeah, he knocked them out. Dave Haye can too if the fight in him is as big as his mouth.

i personally think he could beat all 4

sam peter - his chin isnt the granite beast we thought it was - maybe one off night, but im not sure... i think haye could outbox him for several rounds then finish him off.

chageav - i think haye would ko/tko him, too fast, too powerful..

valuev - i think haye would just have to outbox him, i cant see him actually koing valuev - he's too tough... be a great statement if he did though...

wlad - i think would be a war in the style of hearns/hagler - wlad wouldnt want it to be, but haye would start that fast then there wouldnt be any choice... i think i'd back haye to do it - but it could go either way

The more I think about that big Oak tree, the more I think he's a terrible stylistic matchup for Haye. He is near impossible to KO, which negates Haye's power and means he has to fight 12 rounds and outbox him

That is where Valuev's work-rate and Haye's bad stamina come into play. We don't know if Haye has the discipine to counterpunch effectively for 12 rounds. Valuev is also going to be physically strong in clinches, which will wear Haye down even more

I will leave the Chagaev prediction until after the Valuev fight, because he is a fighter I like and rate highly.

He KO's Peter, he UD's Valuev and the Wlad result i'll stick my neck on the line and say he KO's him in a superb fight. But he could lose.

That is the enigma that is David Haye. That is why he will go down as a great.

True, There is also no way I can see Haye being able to have the stamina to be able to clinch Vs. a freakshow like Valuev for a long fight. it would wear Haye down just standing in there with him in the clinch...good point.

Ummmm. How, about having him fight a top 10 heavyweight before assuming he would beat all the champions.

I dunno how well he'll fair.......as fair as boxing skills goes, i've been watching him for a fair while and he sure does have some skills. More than most of the current HW's out there i would think.

How he'll fair, who knows, it only takes a punch to change things. Tho i thing i can say for sure, even if he losses he will bounce straight back into things, he isn't afraid of losing and i have so much respect for him for that.

Too many fighters care too much about their 0 instead of fighting the best. Haye isn't like that; i personally have a feeling he'll do well, he has all the attributes to be a success.
