I wouldn't mind seing Haye challenge the winner of tonight's
Witherspoon Vs. Arreola or even "Fast" Eddie Chambers.

I'd place Haye in that crop, based on his cruiser credentials...
Even without having one fight at HW.

Kinda like the Manny situation. a "Superfight"
    (Based on his being dominiant)

he has had one fight at heavyweight - he blew a top 15 heavyweight out in under a round - for a warm up fight while he waited for Jean-Marc Mormeck...

he floored his opponent 3 times, and his first jab absolutely rocked his opponents world - the power not only carried to heavyweight - it was far far more powerful, and his speed was still there...

I could actually see Valuev stopping Haye because of sheer number of punches and his stamina is great for a heavyweight.

Haye doesn't have the best set of whiskers which people are overlooking because were all looking for the next great heavyweight and anyone that can punch and talk is applauded. Mormeck dropped him, Thompson stopped him, and he was dropped by someone else too but I can't remember who. These are all sub 200 pound fighters, when he's up against a 240 pound giant like Wlad with good skills, Hayes chin might very well shatter. I wish Haye the best and I'll be rooting for him in every fight, but he isn't a Holyfield.

Anyway, I'd give Haye the best chance against Chageav, Valuev won't be hurt and will fight bell to bell, Wlad looks to be too big and skilled, and Peter will most likely KO him.

But all of this is speculation due to Haye never fighting a real heavyweight.

WHAT THE HELL WAS TOMASZ BONIN - A BLEEDING GHOST???????????????????

David Haye TKO 1 Tomasz Bonin - who was a TOP 15 Heavyweight - i think 11th by WBC - which most people take as the "most prestiguous"...

watch the damned fight - when was the last time a heavyweight looked like that?

    crying out loud

Yeah, but that poses the problem that Hayes chin isnt as good as Haglers..

Bonin may have been ranked top 15 by some corrupt ABC belt but he was far from a top 15 heavyweight. He has beaten no one of note and was knocked out by all people, Audley Harrison. You need to do more than knock out Harrisons leftovers before you start calling out Wlad and be favored over the Heavyweight champions.

I wuoldnt say Bonin was a top 15 heavyweight, no way, despite his 11 ranking by the WBC, more like #30, but it was indeed a superb blowout performance by Haye against a very capable opponent on paper. Tomasz couldn't believe what he was up against, he just thought it was a titlist at cruiser.

Sadly mistaken he was, Haye at heavy will be explosive, trust me.

sure - it might not be the best rating - but back when harrison was actually considered good prospect, it took harrison 9 rounds to finish bonin, and he was rated 11th when he fought haye.

haye did to bonin what hasn't happened in the HW for years...

I agree and like I said I'll be rooting for him. But to favor him over the elite heavyweights when he was far from unbeatable at Crusierweight is pretty silly at this point.

I don't know why you keep talking about him being rated 11th by a corrupt ABC belt when he beat absolutely no one of note. Harrison knocked out Bonin, that pretty much takes away any credibility he has.
