the "corrupt abc" was the WBC - which (not my own rating), was considered a LANDSLIDE most respected and prestiguous belt in several recent polls....

check it if you dont believe me.

Yes, as opposed to what? Oh, the other shitty ABC belts...

Theyre all bad, WBC is just better(in most peoples opinion).

I take my posts back, I didn't realize he beat the mighty Pavel Silvin in his previous bout to Haye. Silvin was in his pro debut and dropped Bonin in the first but hey, if he could drop the WBC 11th ranked Bonin, he must be a regular Ivan Drago.

i dont consider bonin to be worth **** - but the WBC did. you cant call every belt corrupt if you dont agree with its ratings. i dont like the WBC, but many posters do respect it. whether that ranking was warranted or not - he had it.

If you don't consider him to be worth **** why are you saying he was a top 15 heavyweight?

Un f-ing believable! A guy in his 37th fight against a guy making his debut. Yea Haye's a legend alright. If he can beat Bonin and Maccaroni he doesn't have anything left to prove. He ought to go straight into the hall of fame as the greatest HW who ever laced up gloves.

It should also be pointed out that is Silvin's only fight.

Haye might very well do well, but as of right now I'd pick all four of these guys against him.

Also with all the downing of Chagaev keep in mind this man has never been down, has never lost, can go 12, and packs a bigger punch than Mormeck or Thompson.

Haye needs to prove himself first.

Listen you childish ****ing troll: Nobody has said Haye is a ATG fighter, nobody has said he has nothing to prove. How about giving the man some credit for wanting to fight the best eh?

    Idiots...:-(

Peter stops Haye in the middle rounds -- Peter may be slower but he still has a very good chin and underrated skills. Swarming Peter would be a terrible idea. Instead, Haye should box using his surperior technique and try to win on points. Peter fights harder when gassed or hurt. I say Haye gets lured into a slugfest and pays the price. He could stun Peter early but from what I've seen lacks the discipline to fight a smart fight for 12 rounds.

Chagaev close pts Haye -- Chagaev is really overrated in my estimation and is by far the best chance for Haye. Chagaev is smart, moves pretty well, solid chin and has an good power left. However, he has no right hand or jab, lacks aggression, low workrate and can be bullied physically. Haye might be able to dictate the fight tempo and be able to rest when tired. Again, if he can stay disciplined and not just go for the KO, he can win on pts. But that's a big if right now.

Valuev stops Haye late while behind on cards -- Again, Haye can jump out to a lead on the scorecards but does he have the discipline to fight a smart 12 rounds?
Valuev likes to lean on his opponents and drain their energy. Couple that with Haye's aggression and added weight, Haye collapses while well ahead on the scorecards.

Wlad stops Haye early/mid rounds -- Haye's stamina wont come into play. Haye's aggression will be used against him early. Wlad's footwork and control of distance is tremendous for a man his size. He will evade Haye's early aggression and counter with his jab. He will lean on Haye when he gets close. Haye becomes frustrated quickly and starts to get sloppy allowing Wlad to find a rhythm with the jab. As Haye becomes stationary, Wlad begins to land the right cross and it's curtains for Haye and his delusional fanbase. :D

There is a problem sizing up Haye with the HWS right now since he is an unknown commodity at 200+. i have some big questions:

Can he fight 12 rounds with that bigger body and not gas?
Can he fight smart when he unable to hurt his opponent?
Does he have the chin and defense to survive at HW?

I don't think anyone knows the answers so I can only go off his CW fights. In 2 of his last 4 fights, Mormeck and Fragomeni, u saw some vulnerabilities that could be exploited at HW. So basically, any predictions are just guesses since we have no legit sample of hw fights to go off of. I'll reserve final judgement until he fights the 2 "top 10" hws. Haye's fanboys make it pretty easy to rag on him though with their delusional ramblings :yep

You goofy mother****er, plenty on here are talking like he's an all time great. I didn't take anything away from Haye or his chances at heavy. The fact is the guy might actually be a good HW but comparing him to the top guys now is ludicrous.

Loses the Wlad, and Valuev would be tough since his chin is shaky. Haye wouldn't be able to make any mistakes against Valuev and doubt he could KO him.

i think you're really really underrating haye at this point - but hopefully we'll get to see some or all happen, then we'll know... i personally think haye is far better than you think, and could really do some damage in this heavyweight division - maybe having some downs, but coming good in the end.
