How would Enzo Maccarinelli have fared had he faced Haye's HW opponents?

Khan is no.1 LWW champ.

Enzo has been KTFO 5 times at a lower level.

And you're telling me that Enzo could be really good if he just cherry picks his way to the top.

Wheres Enzos HW pedigree to show he would beat any of those guys? The only quesion mark in all of those matchups is Audleys mental state.

 

Your agenda is as painfully clear as the outcome of Enzo at HW. For all his big bollocks talk, it was pretty clear that Enzo was a flabby cruiser. His power was clearly overrated and at HW he’d have lacked the dig and physical strength needed to handle those guys.

Haye lacked the physical strength but retained his power and speed, so despite the technical flaws that became more apparent, he was able to hurt his opponents or land first at the very least.

Enzo couldn’t have done that. He might have moved well for a few rounds, but eventually he’d have gotten hit and hurt. Barrett, Valuev, Ruiz and Wlad all destroy him. Even Mormeck would have battered him down the stretch (although if Big Mac had committed to his body work he might have been able to take a points win).

 

Enzo would beat Audley I think.

The rest all knock him out.

 

I really think Enzo is (or actually was) far better as you guys give him credit for. 4 of his 5 KO losses came from known big hitters (Frenkel, Haye, Lebedev, Afolabi), and in two of those fights he was clearly ahead on points when the KO occured.

He was a top Cruiserweight with a soft chin, nothing wrong with that.

It can be a big problem yes, but it all depends who you face... Look at Herbie Hide, he did pretty well for himself with a sugarglass jaw.

 

Hide was faster of foot and hand than Enzo. In fact more like Haye than Enzo.

 

Herbie Hide and Haye are carbon copies of eachother, with Hide having the bigger punch but also a weaker chin :yep
