Young CHRIS is one of the toughest kids in boxing. He isn’t about to get outmanned by anyone, least of all a glass jawed scouse giraffe.

Also people forget, Smith isn’t getting any younger is he?

Groves sustained a career threatening shoulder injury in the Jnr fight so he wasn’t the same in the Smith fight however Smith beats Jnr and Saunders easily imo too big and strong

One good win win for Smith and he becomes a monster ?

I need to see better names on his resume first.

Young CHRIS effectively retired Groves. Kid put Georgie boy through twelve rounds of hell and ripped his arm clean out of its socket in the process.

The young war machine was back in the gym the next morning, groves never recovered and the scouse giraffe picked over his carcass

Neither are big enough at the weight, both should be at middle but Eubank isn’t good enough for 160 and wants to be in the weaker division while Saunders is just lazy and probably can’t be bothered to make the weight anymore. Smith is huge and knows how to use his strengths, both fights will be easy.

I know but I don’t think it would have changed the result either way.

European level names like Skoglund and Rebrasse are better than anyone Eubank has beat except shadow of Degale.

Smith is far too powerful for Eubank, would knock him out.

BJS would pose more problems but in the end I see him taking punishment and getting stopped too.

    Oh, I agree.

It's just people making out Smith is unstoppable on the back of his victory against Groves.

26 wins, 19 by TKO/KO, the other 7 wins haven’t even been close. They’ve been comfortable at worst. Of course, you can criticise the lack of depth on the old CV but I think it’s wiser to judge him on his performances & how he’s rose to the challenge each time. Now he’s a world champion he’ll get better names on the resume. He’s clearly a very tidy operator, does everything well, his timing is excellent, power speaks for itself and he’s a devastating finisher.

Junior’s style presents opportunities for someone like Smith, he’s not the most elusive. I think Callum would be cautious but win a shutout. If an opponent is wobbled, he finishes the job but I think Junior has a great chin & heart & would survive the 12 rounds.

Saunders is class, he’s elite in my eyes (on his day). He’d run him close but i’d edge towards Smith cos of his long levers and essentially being 2 weight classes above him.

Don’t think anyone is saying that but let’s be fair, it’s a terrible division especially now Ramirez is gone. Smith’s true tasks ahead lie at 175.
