How would Fernando Vargas do in today's 154lb division?

Vargas is extremely overrated here.
(I'm a fan too but Danm!)

 

Vargas beats everyone currently at 154. He also would have beat Trinidad if Felix hadn't nutshotted him immediately after the knockdown in the 4th round. That slowed Vargas down and took away his momentum and bought a hurt Trinidad some valuable recovery time. And I don't even like Vargas either.

I think he'd take Canelo out now, but Canelo might improve enough in a few years to make me change my mind on the matter.
