How would Floyd deal with Pac's foot speed, awkward punch angles, and speed?

I aint trying...I never said Floyd wasn't smart. It was a nice catch. But When Mosley threw 2 count them about 2 combinations in the fight, Floyd was in a bit of trouble....!

HAHA LOL..ROACH..MANNY IS THE ONE TO HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THAT...

FLOYD WILL CONTROL THE TEMPO OF THE FIGHT MAN..HIS FOOTWORK IS SUPERB TO MANNIES....

MANNY WONT HAVE A CHOICE....HE WILL HAVE TO WIN A CHESS MATCH...HE DONT HAVE TO FOOTWORK TO MAKE IT HIS TEMPO OF FIGHT....U THINK FLOYD IS STUPID ENOUGH TO COME OUT OF HIS ELEMENT AND GIVE UP THE W SO ITS NOT A BORING FIGHT????? ..HE WILL TAKE THE CROWD OUT OF THE FIGHT AND PLAY CHESS ALL NIGHT...SEE MAYWEATHER BALDOMIR FOR A SOURCE:good

True..but he wasn't "boxing" he was trying to stand toe to toe with shane..me and you both know he cant do that and thus looked what happened when he did...Than he used his footwork to slow the tempo and keep it a chess match..

    nice post btw! :good

That is the way a fighter should react, but Mosley failed to follow up. All he had to do was cont to throw that right hand when MAyw was hurt and he would of been out of there.

lol..mosley failed to follow up?? How bout tony?? Did he fail to follow up on tony too??

Thats the difference with floyd...shane was trying to follow up..but he had a fighter in front of him who knew how to "technically" fight hurt...

shane was stepping back and trying to get the room he needed as is what your supposed to do (technically)...problem is he was fighting a guy who still knows what they are doing when they fight hurt and thus far is right on par with sweet pea in knowing how to fight hurt..

N when i say he did everything right I MEAN FROM THE BEGGINING...MOST FIGHTERS WONT BE ABLE TO "CATCH" A PUNCH LIKE FLOYD DID ON THE FIRST ONE THAT BUZZED HIM...HE ACTUALLY CATCHES THE PUNCH WHICH IS TEXTBOOK BUT EXTREMLEY HARD TO DO AND SOMETHING THAT TAKES A VERY LONG TIME TO MASTER..ESPECIALLY GOING AGAINST A HARD PUNCHER WITH DECENT TO GOOD SPEED LIKE SHANE

If you think pac is going to go in a bulldoze floyd, your another fighter that is just not thinking right..

the more fighter and fan underestimate floyd the easier the fight is for him .. Roach nows that try to bull doze floyd would be like running in a dark room full of bear traps.

Im not sure when the light will finally click in you guys head that rushing floyd is what he wants you to do.. and with no head movement like shane and pac your a sitting duck..

Pac has a chance but not like you think..

what the hell do you mean he can't move like he used to?

Floyd is most likely too big and too skilled for Pac, it is without question the best fight out there however.

I don't believe that Pac can win this fight, but it's not necessarily dictated on his handspeed.

He has to be in position to land on Mayweather in order to utilize his hands...

I think he's going to have a lot of trouble getting to Mayweather in the first place, and the fact that he's a southpaw may actually prove to be a disadvantage.

If Pac was an orthadox fighter and he managed to fight smaller, there is a possiblity he could slide inside and do the necessary damage to hurt Floyd, but that's not the case.

Honestly, I don't see how Pac can win this fight.

It's a shame. There really isn't anyone out there that challenge Floyd, nevermind beat him.

Maybe Paul Williams or Sergio Martinez.

true but those same to punches landed on margarito early in the fight, did enough damage that margarito was completely out of the fight until getting KOed. Floyd on the other hand took the same two shots came back and dominated Shane.

In the word of Teddy Atlas and late customato , "he behaved like a fighter when he got hit".

pac's "awkward punches" leave him very very open for counters

You do realize that Hatton was able to get to Floyd by using that method, and was actually relatively succesful doing so. It's just that when he managed to get inside, Floyd nullified his offense.

Perhaps Hatton is a bit underrated on his ability to close the distance, however, Pac is not Hatton, but then again he would also know what to do with his hands when he gets inside.
