I love EM but he would be out of his league at 130 against PBF. PBF by UD.

huge EM fan bt I think pbf would win by SD or close UD. no 116-110 score on this ****. em would get several rounds but i think pbf would potshot him with jabs and straights and circle away.

EM has more heart and would engage him toe to toe but i doubt pbf would be willing to trade punches with him the whole night.

easy ko victory for floyd..morales was nothing special at 130..I don't think he would last 5 rounds with floyd at 130.

A prime, *prime* Erik Morales was never even dropped and PBF stops him? I don't think so.

Wins maybe a 7-5 ish like decision, but as tito4eva said Erik's better weights were lower and that would be the best place to match the two.

@ 122 or 126 it would a a pickem fight for me prime on prime.

He has more heart because he has never been known to run away from his opponents on a bike the whole evening. not necessarily against mayweather.

EM has always been considered a true aztec warrior, lets give him props for that. the threat is against a PRIME Morales at 130. remember, prior to the second pac fight, he has never been stopped, kayoed.

Mayweather wide UD, he'd punish Erik in the later rounds. PBF's peak was at 130, only better fighters than him to ever grace that weight were Arguello and Chavez. It wasn't Morales's best weight at all.

What people like you fail to realize is that PBF that fought at 130 was a much different fighter than he is now. He went after people let his hands go more and tried to stop them. He wouldn't need to jab and circle away or pot shot EM he could go right at him. EM didn't have anything that would hurt him. EM would be badly beaten in this fight and maybe even stopped.

Yeah - Corrales wasn't weight affected at all in that fight...or distracted with the court case.

This is a prime vs prime match up we're talking here.

So prime, Morales chin was of granite and his skills at an elite level. His pressure volumonous and if JLC can give two tough fights for a decision victory - Why is it so hard for Floyd nut huggers to accept anything other than a KO victory?

Floyd fans are about narrow minded as it comes.

    Two points:

1.Morales's prime was NOT at 130 though

2.The Castillo fights were at lightweight, Mayweather was never as good at any other weight than he was at 130.

i think floyd outboxes erik, but not ko's him. erik's best weight was 122 to 126, not 130. even at that weight he was able to beat pac. they both had a common opponent, jesus chavez. even tho i see floyd winning this, i'm sure he'd be weary of erik's right hand. even in his last fight, a shot version of morales was still able to command his right hand one more time and floor diaz. floyd by UD

Mad love for Pacman's father Morales but im afraid this would be Floyd/Chico all over again.

Mayweather would have a good chance at stopping Morales at 130... just like Pacquiao did twice.

Always and excuse when it comes to PBF's opponents? But none in the first JLC fight when PBF had a torn shoulder muscle.:-(

I'm not knocking EM he's an ATG and a warrior for sure. With that said he never faced a guy like PBF at 130 a complete package. Fast hands, great footwork, great stamina, great power, great defense, great chin and great reing generalship. He virtually had no weakness at that weight and arguably the GOAT there. EM would have had his hands full with PBF at a weight that wasn't his best. So it's not s stretch to say he probabaly would have been stopped.

But the thread is flawed - 130 is not "prime" Morales by a long shot. At 122 he 35-0 with 29 KO's - That was his prime.

It's a pound for pound fantasy fight at best for prime on prime and I would favour Floyd by a points victory 7-5 or 8-4 in rounds.
