Floyd is regarded as the best P4P champ in the last three or four years.

He's recently fought at 154. But how would he fair against:

    Prime - Prime

    Winky @ 154

    Trinidad @ 160

    Hopkins @ 156

It is unfair to put Floyd in with these fighters

He is not stressing his back by fighting at 147, he would weigh at fight time the same at 140 as he would 147.

It's plenty fair. Guys have been going up big for years. Jones/Ruiz, Conn/Louis, and good old Joe Choyonski fighting @ 170 or less vs. Jack Johnson, Jim Jefferies, Jim Corbett.

Nah, Floyd is not that indured apart from his hands. He does not do training that would do so and he doesn't get hit a great deal. He was most likly bullshiting, in 24/7. Incase he by some fluke he lost to Hatton he would have an excuse.

If he was bullshitting in 24/7, how come he insisted the fight with DLH take place in September?

Any number of reasons that neither you or I could know. He has a great deal of money. Perhaps he just fancied a break, also just because no fight has been confirmed between now and september does not mean that one cannot happen :good

A more plausible answer is that he actually is injured, and doesn't feel that he'll be ready until September. I highly doubt Floyd will fight before that fight in September. It seems ridiculous that Floyd would make up injuries as a pre planned excuse. Hatton had no shot in that fight, even against a banged up Mayweather.

BigReg, frankly you have no idea :good. He never claimed an actual injury just that "his body is breaking down" which frankly sounds like an excuse, no Hatton never had a shot even if Mayweather was injured.

He showed no that is zero symptoms of an injury during the fight, at the afterfight presser and no statment has been released to say he is injured.

The hell I don't. Number 1, we all saw him going to physical therapy on his show. What, do you think doctors have time to go around treating fake injuries? Number 2, reports surfaced after the fight that he injured his elbow sparring Baldo. Number 3, during the fight Lederman pointed out his lack of movement during the fight. After the fight, Floyd commented how his injured back limited his mobility. You see, I have plenty of evidence to back up my claim. You seem to just be making up **** as you go along.

How many athletes go to physical therapy? Nearly all football players have treatment simliar to that as a warm down, the injury does not warent a what 10 months break? Hell you can snap ligaments and get back after 10 months in some cases.

His elbow is not his back and he showed what signs of an elbow injury in the Hatton fight? or the De La Hoya fight?

I have not seen that interview,Link it if you can. I didnt think it limited his moblity I just think he took a while to adjust to Hatton, because of Hattons ability to keep on his chest.
