You're probably right! But Floyd being Floyd would've probably went wherever the cash was. But than again the 70's being a little different in terms of social climate, maybe Jr. wouldn't be such a money grubbing A-hole in the Muhammed Ali era of boxing!

He'd have been KO'd by everyone.

He would have been on a long ass vacation. FFS he ducked Cotto and Margarito, you think he'd fight SRL, Hearns, and the likes?

In all seriousness, I think this is the most accurate scenario. If he's asking for osdt. And 100 million for pac there is no way he'd figHt. Th best era of fighters

I think Mayweather beats Duran comfortably. Floyd vs SRL he would probably lose a close decision but I could see him pulling out a victory. Floyd gets viciously KOed by Hearns, probably very early in the fight.

No chance of him beating Leonard at WW or the Duran who fought Palomino and Leonard. None whatsoever.

I don't think Floyd loses to any of these guys based on his incredible boxing technique particulalrly on defense. Benitez can't find him and gets KO'd! Also as nasty and fearless as Roberto was, if he quit on Leonard he would 've never found Floyd. 12 round decision for Money. also remember that Floyd couldn't fight the style he does now and be effective against these guys. You would have to be talkin PBF from 96 - 2000 to whoop these guys asses. and, I guarantee you that Mayweather would've whooped all their asses!

Money's modern day attitude wouldn't translate to that era. 1st of all the only guy making PBF money was Ali and Foreman & Frazier. Other than that there were none. And guys at welter in the 70's weren't making nothing close Ali. So you would've seen a great boxer of his era. I still say he goes undefeated unless he gets screwed on a decision for a lack of punches. Now I could see that!

At 140 I believe he would do well. I believe he would beat Pryor and Alexis. At 147 it would be all about match ups. If he caught Duran after the Leonard fight I think he beats him. IMO he beats Benitez. Leonard would get in that ass like wedgie. A great big man always beats a great little man. Hearns is just wrong for him. It would be best for him to fight at 140 and weight for Leonard, Hearns, and Duran to move up.

    Hearns & Co....LOL

The history of Mayweather career suggest that he would retire faster than ever.

 at floyd having a chance against Leonard or Duran in good WW condition. They'd ****ing kill him.

  13. He would have ducked Pryor, Arguello, Leonard, Duran, and Hearns while claiming he was #1 based on the fact that they all had a loss or 2.

Floyd has the style to do well in any era IMO. I think he would be in some really good fights. The people he would lose to would be SRL, Hearns, and Duran. SRL gets a UD in a relatively close fight. Hearns is a really bad match for him, I think he gets TKO'd. He probably has the best chance out of the three to beat Duran from pot shots/holding, but I think Duran wins a split decision. Everyone else I think Floyd beats.
