I agree AJ is more skilled than Wilder, I've said before that I give Wilder a good chance of scoring the KO against AJ, but I also think AJ has a decent chance as well. I think when it comes to Fury though, it will be Tyson doing the chipping away with his deceptive hard punches, I see AJ swelling up pretty bad by the mid rounds, unless he hurts Tyson bad early he is in trouble late in the fight.

The thing is Tyson has the ability to think under fire and has now shown the extent of his recovery skills. I wouldn't rule out AJ landing a peach of a combination though, but at this point I sway towards an in shape Fury avoiding it and landing his own fast counters, he is much more mobile than AJ as well. I'm not saying Tyson Fury is Muhammad Ali, but he is the Ali type out of the big three, he has that ability to pull out something special, he has that ring IQ and can adapt, that's what I think he has over AJ and Wilder for all their power.

    That’s absolute rubbish!

Wilder telegraphs everything he’s about to do and only has 1 maybe 2 combinations, the first being a looping Hail Mary right followed by a left hook and the second being the very very occasional 1-2. He’s so easy to read, he has tells that he just cannot stop himself doing.

Anyone whose fought or analysed Joshua speaks of his attacks & punches being fast and unpredictable. That he’s so difficult to read and that he sets traps which you fall into because you’re desperately looking for a sign as to what he’s going to do.

Fury only had to avoid Wilders right hand and the follow up left hook but against Joshua there’s a variety of shots and combinations to evade. Also Joshua’s punches travel a much shorter distance, straight down the pipe giving his opponents less time to get out of the way.

Finally Fury won’t enjoy a 40lb weight advantage so his opponent won’t tire and get leg weary as Wilder did.

The combination that floored Povetkin would floor Fury and Joshua wouldn’t waste his opportunity to finish off Fury.

It took Steve Cunningham one shot to drop Fury heavily.

Povetkin is a Russian hype job who never ever beat anybody of note unless going life and death with Fatty Chambers or Huck are career defining fights or beating a shot to shid ghost of Chris Byrd................Povetkin is the definition of a guy who never ever delivered while hiding in Russia.......even a young Povetkin was thrown around like a rag doll against a glass chinned WK who was waxed in his prime by absolute ham and eggers with very little skill. Fact.

As far as chin is concerned, that sucks too , everytime WK even grazed him he buckled and the shots he ate against AJ were peanuts in comparison what a shot beyond shot Tyson took from Lewis until he finally said f it....

Wilder being unpredictable is the biggest myth out there. Even Fury’s trainer said so. The first knockdown was a flash one, wasn’t hurt in the slightest. Tyson was too confident and probably a bit too tired by the 12th, AJ would have caught him as well and Fury probably still would have survived. A fitter and less rustier Fury will toy with Wilder in the rematch.

Totally agree,no secret that Wilder looks to find that big right hand and against Fury it was so obvious,AJ throws orthodox combinations that have worked since boxing began.
It’s just rubbish that AJ is slow and robotic, can’t wait to find out to be sure but I have beating Wilder with ease and Fury I’m not so sure to be honest.

Of course he was hurt, he was trying to hold onto Wilder for dear life as soon as he got up. Recovered very quickly, but he was hurt no doubt about it. Fury’s heart is just second to none.

His boxing brain isn't 100% though, and probably due to such heart. While he has a great one in many ways, to come out and try to fight when he had the fight in the bag, he should have been hugging, knackering Wilder out, moving, spoling. He'd already done the job and just needed some discipline. He had some problems with Wlad in the 12th in that fight too - only round he did have any trouble, but it shows a pattern. He got greedy with the wrong tactics.
