How would G-Man/Collins of gone down?

    After 9 rounds, McClellan was up by 1 point and 3 points, with the other card even. So what?

    He'd been blinking before the Benn fight, let alone before the headbutt.

    I agree you cant fairly use the Benn fight as a measure of how good Gerald was.
    I think though McClellan`s lack of defence would start to let him down as the fight went on.Collins would have a chance to outwork him as McClellan got tired.

    although i am one of the people that has a deep dislike for the G-man, he was hell of a fighter, and i would think he would have beaten Collins, poss late stoppage

    Yep. Lot of evidence that it was pretty much when and not if he was ganna get damaged. If it wasn't against Nige it would've been in the rest couple of fights.

    I believe G-man had big problems well before the Benn fight.

    I know, he was so bad he beat RJJ on points in the amateurs.
    George Foreman had no defence, when you got that much firepower, offence is more than enough.
    I like Steve Collins, but GMan annihalates him early.
