Now he would lose. In 2 years he should be at that level.

    He would be fantastic sparring.

    That is a big ask.

Malignaggi has now gone upto 147. As an Italian he qualifies for the EBU. Can you think over a bigger European fight than against Kell Brook. That is what I call an eliminator

I'd reckon Malignaggi is faded enough for someone as young as Gavin to give him a stiff argument, if not beat him.

Not sure he's got the hunger for it after taking hidings from the three best opponents he's ever going to face.

you have to fight 5 times in Europe to qualify. Mallignaggi is styaing in the states now anyway. expect him to be fed to Alvarez.

Gavin has the ability to destroy him now. He wouldnt have to worry about being rocked by paulies powder-puff punches, so would take him apart very easily.

He'd fare pretty poorly if they fought tomorrow.

Like others have said, maybe in a year or two.

    Gavin would outbox malignaggi.

Malignaggi is underrated it would appear.

Gavin wouldn't beat him for a couple/few more years.

I think Paulie's jab causes Gavin a lot of problems.

I doubt it. Paulie is no great shakes, but c'mon fellas he's not THAT hopeless. I rate Gavin but he's still in the embryonic stages of his pro career and a seasoned campaigner like Paulie who's been in with world class opponents and held his own, is just a level above Frankie at the moment.

Frankie would not be able to 'outbox' Paulie in my opinion. To get to Paulie you must be able to ignore his work and impose yourself on him, Gavin hasn't the substance to do that at this stage. He ain't hurting Paulie and he ain't outboxing him.

I would really fancy Malinfaggi in this one. Really hope Paulie comes over and starts fighting at European level, certainly a few of the welterweights this side of the pond could do with this type of test before moving into world title territory. I also think he would beat any of the current welter Brits.

Sparring would be a great idea but probably hard to put together.....

Frankie still needs an education, your talking about putting him with a guy who's fading out of world class level. Paulie ain't that poor that he'd lose to Frankie at this stage.

Give Frankie a year and then yes he do a job on him probably but at this point it's a big ask to beat a man that still has fast hands, just lost his legs really...Frankie wouldn't bring anything Paulie hasn't seen or felt and Paulie wouldn't engage Frankie in the area's Frankie thrives on..which would frustrate Frankie. Frankie needs to get more learning bouts under belt and in time he'd adapt in ring and do the job on Paulie.

I did not know that. What you are saying is that the EBU has rules which they follow, and they would not bend them for a sanctioning fee:deal
