Young Foreman beats all except the Klitschkos, Old Foreman loses to all unless he catches Haye in a Moorer moment, I doubt lighning strikes twice though.

 

George Foreman is the most destructive Hd 2 Hd Heavyweight in history, the only fighters that can beat a peak Foreman are all time great slick movers (Muhammad Ali, Larry Holmes) or all time great craftsmen (Jack Johnson) The only heavyweight I would favour or a peak Foreman is Muhammad Ali.

Reading through this thread I see alot of people here dont realize what a monster of a fighter Foreman was in his prime. That's not surprising given the fact that many of the users came alive - not just here but all over the place - when VK beat that fat mexican as if he was an ATG. I also find it funny some compare a prime Foreman to the bums of today. Foreman would crush everyone, Quitali would probably last the longest but still quit in mid rounds due to cuts/shoulder injury/and being in a coma on the canvas all simutaniously. :deal

Wrong. The only fighters who ever landed good shots of Vitali were Sanders and Lewis, both taller and faster than Foreman. It wouldn't be a battle of power, Vitali would be too difficult to hit with his height, reflexes and awkward style. Vitali looked good against Lewis, who is as strong as Foreman. Yes, he lost, but not because he was the weaker fighter.

 

Say what you will about Donald, Hide, Sanders, but they had better speed than Foreman. Vitali doesn't have good refelxes? What are you smoking? He is extremely good at making opponents miss, Foreman's huge power doesn't mean he has better handspeed or accuracy than the guys Vitali fought.

 

On his worst night, Wlad could lose to a lot of fighters. I am sure the unprepared version of Lennox who lost to Rahman could be KO'd by Foreman, doesn't mean anything about the best version. Did you see the rematch between Wlad and Brewster, when Wlad's metabolism didn't cave in? On his best night, Foreman would have a hard time to get past Wlad's jab, Wlad is both taller and faster, a difficult combination to overcome.

 

By that definition Lennox should be knocked through the ropes by Foreman, considering he was knocked out flat on his back by two street bums in McCall and Rahman.

Any HW could have beaten Wlad in the Brewster fight. Heck any Cruiserweight would have beaten him. If you sneezed on Wlad's chin that night you'd have floored him. You are comparing a fighter in his prime (Foreman) to a guy delivering his worst possibly performance (Wlad against Brewster).

Is Wlad's Brewster performance representative of him as a fighter? I beg to differ.

 

Utter rubbish. Carnera was a mob lackey. He had a decent jab but not on the level of Vitali, let alone Wladimir. Carnera was big, strong & had an okay punch, more along the lines of Valuev if you're comparing him to today's Heavys. If you can't see that then I can't help you.

 

Exactly. Most of these guys saying "Forman KO's all of them including the Klits" are comparing the very best Forman to the very worst of the Klitschkos. Typical hater bull****. :tired
