how would gervonta vs García have been at 140 without a rehydration clause

Garcia landed a clean punch if I'm not mistaken in the second round and put the tank in bad shape... I think Garcia is better than this... he lacks confidence... I think Garcia at 140 and without a rehydration clause would have hevho A better fight would not have won but I think that if he had to knock out the tank with a clean blow... he lacks a lot of experience and technique... his iq in the ring is not his thing, I know how much he can improve...

Gervonta vs Davis is a cracking fight.

It wouldn't have made much of a difference. But that's the problem with Tank. He's talented enough to beat better guys than he is fighting without A-side diva tactics, so why does he insist on not doing that?

I'm more interested in if Juan Carlos can punch harder than Shakur Stevenson on the bag or not. I'm tired of waiting.

I just feel like Davis' power was too much. Garcia would have his moments, moreso this time. He proved he can bully Gervonta in round 2, but he also got caught then as well. The same thing will happen here.

Wouldn't of made a difference. Counter puncher with 1 punch KO power, vs a guy who loves to lead, over commits to his shots was only ever going to go one way. You can't just go at a counter puncher, that's exactly what they want and Garcia style was just made to be countered.

I’ll be the odd one out here and say it would’ve been different. That bodyshot really didn’t have much on it. But Garcia being drained was very susceptible to the body as he showed all night. He did not like it. Didn’t have to touch him hard, just enough.

The feeling of frailness, being outboxed, the situation got too tough for him and he quit.

One thing that would remain is Garcia getting outboxed. Kid is a terrible boxer. Can only fight in straight lines, straight back, straight forward. But he’d be more of a physical force at 140lbs. More durability, more strength, more pep in his step.

Bump all that yak, The man needs to go to church cause he ain't no fighter, he was feasting on them bums and got hyped into fighting Davis. He was out of his league and it showed. He was covering up like a real coward. He don't have the heart of a warrior.

Can't really say that it wouldn't make a difference given that it was basically the main storyline of the fight and Team Davis was going on and on about how they needed to weaken Ryan Garcia throughout training camp. I mean, Tank kept telling Ryan that he was drained in interviews after the weigh in.

Ryan's ability to take a punch was most definitely affected, imo.
