Well, since GGG hits even harder than Hagler, you'd have to figure he's stops Hearns at some point in the fight.

There are probably children with greater powers of logical reasoning than this effort.^

Don't think it's quite that simple. Marciano took 13 round s to ko jersey but Louis got him in the eleventh in his rematch. Hearns ko's Duran in two but Hagler goes the distance with him. Jersey Joe ko's Charles but Louis has to go fifteen and loses. So many different scenarios in boxing.

    Can you count light-heavyweights?

Golovkin's not an infighter. wouldn't have worked out well for him.

Hagler didn't hit as hard as GGG, and wasn't as good as a puncher. But he was more mobile, his movement was more dynamic, and he was more flexible with distance and range while remaining balanced.

Hagler may have had just the right combination of punching ability and maneuverability to offset all of Hearns strengths. He was able to consistently close the distance when he wanted due to his unique traits.

I think while Golovkin is more dangerous if he lands flush, he may not have the perfect style for Hearns the way Hagler did. With Golovkin, I think Hearns could keep his distance better with his jab, reach, and footwork.

He could survive by being cagey and safety first on the inside while scoring with his jabs and straight rights to win the fight.

This is a pretty tough pick and a great matchup. If I have to pick. I think Golovkin would win, but I don't think it would go like the Hagler fight.

Best way to beat GGG is to stand and fight, Brook proved that and Hearns had the power to hurt GGG. Another problem with Hearns boxing GGG is that he couldn`t get away from Hagler which was strange because Marvin couldn`t cut the ring of like GGG, he legs looked unsteady, Steward said some idiot massaged his legs before the fight and that`s a wind down for muscles so Hearn`s legs were sleepy and sluggish! It certainly looked that way.
