:deal Trout honestly isn't ELITE. He's good but he's not exactly someone who will ever threaten Mayweather.
I don't know about that. He ran Ginger pretty close. He beat Cotto. He schooled Canelo's brother (worse than Ishida did), and D-Rod, and Destroyer Lopez. He ain't bad, just not on that Mayweather & Lara plane...and he gets exposed when you make him come forward and be the one to engage, as both Lara and to a lesser extent Canelo did.
Trout is overrated. He has an ACTIVE jab that has no pop to it, and he never sets anything up with it... at all. He has quick one step movement, but you make him move more than once and his sh*t gets awkward. He isn't a top jr middle and I think the Charlos, Booboo, Lara, Floyd, Vanes all beat the crap out of him.
Charlos and Floyd yes (and obviously Lara, who already did), but I'm not sure about Martirosyan or Andrade...neither of them is exactly the complete package themselves...
Andrade is an assumption, but Vanes already put the beats to him and dropped him twice with headgear on.
@ the '04 Olympic trials? [yt]47mP7VGHKbE[/yt] First off, besides the knockdown that was actually incredibly close. Second, Martirosyan actually was a beast in the amateurs but has regressed and become lazy and one-note in the pros. (and that isn't just because of the Andrade loss; there was already writing on the wall in the messy Lara draw and in his struggles with Ouma...) Ironically, despite Martirosyan being the puncher and Trout more the cutie-pie point-scoring stylist, I think it has been Trout who translated more successfully into the pros. They met two other times with Martirosyan going 3-0 but I don't recall ever hearing they went too differently. Sort of like how Maidana fought Matthysse like half a dozen times and went like 4-0-2 but observers agreed that every single meeting was very close and the rivalry could have just as easily tipped Matthysse's way.
The Olympic trials was one time yes. I think he dropped him in under a minute. The other fight he dropped him is also in the net, not sure when it was. Vanes isn't a great fighter, but he is a tough out for nearly anyone. I think his style troubles Trout. Trout looks better against boxer-punchers IMO.
come to expect nothing less from you.. its become painfully obvious floyds skills are far too advanced for yout tinny little limited mind to comprehend..
