I personally felt like JMM didn't adjust to Diaz's pressure as fast as I thought he would. He allowed himself to be cornered time and time again and I just don't think Diaz would have been able to do the same to Pac. Pac's speed and power would have inevitably resulted in the same outcome but maybe even quicker by my estimation.

    Your thoughts.

Would be a different fight. JMM outskilled him, Pac would probably try to outpower and outpunch him, and theoretically Diaz is the bigger and stronger guy. Depends on how much strength Pac shows once he fights a live fighter at 135+. The Hatton fight will be a good indicator.

diaz is the fatter guy... JMM looked bigger than Diaz and definitely stronger. Diaz has power puff punches.

i can't comment because haven't seen the fight but what can i say is pac and jmm is in a different class than all the current reigning lightweight champions. yes including campbell if he was still a 135 champ. the closest could be guzman but pac and jmm would beat him.

If it was this Diaz against Pac, I think it might have been more of a war.

I thought Diaz looked much stronger and was able to drive him back whenever he wanted, he just couldn't land enough solid punches to win the fight. I don't think ANY fighter has powder puff punches... I'm sure if Malignaggi cracked you on the chin it would hurt. He's just not a BIG puncher because he throws in such volume instead of sitting down on his punches.

Opinions may vary, there's no way to know unless the fight happens, but Manny imho would try to beat Diaz at his own game and if Diaz was effectively stronger, that could lead to a rough night.

Yeah, but despite the outcome and the fact he doesn't hit that hard, yu gotta give it to 'eem in the chin dept.

He took some very clean and heavy punches tonight.

    That kidz tough.

I still like the guy. I hope he bounces back. :good

pac victory over hoya is still the bigger win because he is an underdog in that match...

diaz vs pac, well i cant say...diaz is a lot different from hatton. Hatton's style is tailor made for pac

but pac would have KO'd him still him..but JMM win is impressive simply because he remained focused to his game plan...MEASURED!!!

it's all about class and talent here. pac and jmm being the top 2 p4p fighters in the world will both have their way against a B to B+ level fighter like juan diaz. the styles are different but the class and talent-level are the same. same result.

I congratulate JMM on his achievements. That was an awesome performance and on its own I don't even care how Manny would have performed.
