How would have Roberto Durán from the Palomino Fight fared up against Leonard in their first match?

I consider the Palomino fight to be Duran’s best performance. He was not only more aggressive than in his Montreal version but also noticeably quicker.

He also seemed stronger, although a bit more reckless—often throwing wild hooks that left him off balance at times during the fight.

He completely dominated Palomino, outboxed him, and outdogged him on the inside. It was an incredible masterclass—a 12-0 type of fight. Props to Carlos for not getting knocked out.

Honestly, I think Duran would have won an even wider decision against Leonard, perhaps even stopping him in the later rounds. What do you think?

His best performance IMO also. Third DeJesus and this fight is believe are Duran at his absolute peak.

It's the same fighter. We basically saw this play out when he actually fought Leonard.

Duran who fought Palamino and the Duran who fought Leonard was the same fighter, although a little shop worn. Duran versus Dejesus 2 was Duran’s best fight. One of the best lightweight fights ever recorded.

For the two De Jesus rematches, Duran looks unbeatable, would love his calm, yet aggressive playstyle up against the top h2h fighters on lightweight.

    Palomino isn't Leonard, for mine.
