How would Haye do against Pulev?

    Haven't watched much of Pulev except the Ustinov fight. I don't think he will be Haye's next opponent, however.

    This would be excellent matchmaking, for both & for the HW division.

    Some fans would probably call it boring, while purists would enjoy it.

    It would probably be close. The scoring would be controversial.

    So you think it would go to a decision? Booth said the next opponent would be against someone whose style gels with Haye's. I think for the first fight it'll be against someone who is more or less guaranteed to get KO'd.

    Fairly similar style matchup as the Klychko fight although Pulev has a better chin. Size, strength, great jab and very mobile footwork and ability to dictate range would make it pretty difficult for Haye, reducing him to trying to land single counter shots from the outside much like the Vova fight.

    this would be a great fight. i'd love to see that. i think it would be a very close fight that either could win. haye plans to fight two times to get in a good position to fight klitschko, so i don't think he would take such a risky fight, unfortunately.

    Pulev is one of the best kept secrets in boxing, imo. This would be a thrilling fight. Anything can happen, really.

    And Haye would get major props if he takes this fight.

    Pulev has one of the best jabs in boxing, decent footwork and chin, Haye would have to give it 110% if he would want to win this

    think hayes speed would be the deciding factor in the fight winning a UD but could see Pulev definately winning a good few rounds later on in the fight

    I think he will fair well. It will be a close fight. Both fighters are good, Pulev has size advantage, Haye has more power but Pulev has a very good cheeen. They both will hurt each other at certain point of the fight. It will be close maybe controversial as IB said.

    I haven't seen much from Pulev but I'm not as impressed as some people here are. He is one of the best HWs but Wlad would annihilate him, he doesn't punch very hard and just isn't the most athletic fighter he isn't unathletic but he hasn't got the power to hurt Wlad and would get destroyed from the outside I doubt he could outbox Wlad. And I would have to favor Haye if he comes to fight even though Pulev is the better technical boxer Haye is unorthodox, faster and hits harder
