...against the top ranked guys currently, Huck, Lebedev, Cunningham, Wlodarczyk, Ross, Green etc? I think he'd KO Green and Huck but against Lebedev and Cunningham I give him no more than 50-50 chances. Wlodarczyk and Ross I have no idea.
Shut the **** up, Haye would be about a 1/10 favourite against Lebedev and Cunningham Cunningham is garbage, only because he is American is he even rated.
Cunningham is one of the easiest fights of the lot for him. Cunningham has technical skills and speed but against Haye, he'd quickly find that the usual advantages he has in both departments are largely eradicated given Haye is also very quick of hand and technically skilled. And he's in with a guy with the power to take him out with one or two shots, factoring in Haye's power at cruiserweight and Cunningham's suspect punch resistance. He doesn't hit hard enough to keep Haye off him and discourage Haye from looking for the knockout either.
Cunningham was quiet as a mouse when haye was undisputed champ, soon as haye announced he was moving to heavy cunningham piped up and called out haye
Haye would ko all of them, simple as that. It's not as if this is some sort of golden era at CWT, there are some good fighters but I wouldn't give any of them a real chance against Haye.
Haye got floored with Mormeck and had one hell of a fight with Fragomeni - why do u expect him to have easier fights against better fighters than those mentioned?
Cruiserweight isn't very good. But I see him losing to Cunningham and having as much as he can handle with Huck and Ross. Haye at cruserwieght was def the weakest lineal champ in recent memory.
he beats wlodarcyk(sp.) on points. kayoes cunningham and huck vs lebedev, i really dont know. the guy is a beast and could end haye with one punch. i havent seen him hurt so dunno what his chin is like.
The problem with asking a question like this is that most guys let their dislike for Haye cloud their judgement. He was the unified champ at that division (unlike Wladimir or Vitali at heavyweight) and then he moved up for the extra challenge. At that weight right now he would still be champ.
Was he? btw, the problem may be 'overlike' as well. Everybody knows and admits Haye is extremly talented boxer but the other truth is that he has never been fighting against really demanding opponent thats why he's never been proven.
