Haye-Arreola would be a far more entertaining fight than watching Haye get decrapitated by either Klitschko
I don't know, it seems like there is a lot of biased fans here who would like to see Haye get decapitated. That has never happend before, he has only been Tko'd at Cruiserweight. And knocked down once at HW against Barrett.
How the hell are some Haye fans laughing at Arreola for crying because he called Haye a ***** and coward. Haye didn't take the fight! Arreola did! And I kinda like Haye, he's a funny dude but still.
Boxing as openly and exposing his chin as much as he did in the Barrett fight would pretty much guarantee a Vitali victory inside 4 rounds.
Hayes only chance would be, to get LOWER in weight, around what he was against Maccarinelli, and bank rounds on speed alone. The "heavy" Haye with all his "power" cannot avoid getting hit, and he can't take it.
Haye doesn't have the chin Arreola has and he likely doesn't have the heart either since heart goes hand in hand with a chin that keeps you up through adversity. If you got a weak chin or weak puch resistance your heart simply will not be given an opportunity to shine. I don't think Haye would have gotten nearly as far as Arreola did last Saturday. Haye fights with his ****ing hands down man. Maybe a 250 lb 6'8 guy like Vitali can get away with that but I just don't see Haye evading those octupus like looping shots that Vitali throws. Haye's chin was exposed by a cruiserweight and severely tested by Monte Barret who is probably not even a top 25 guy at this point. Haye would have gotten KOed with only a fraction of the shots Arreola withstood.
Haye has a completely different style to who Vitali has fought since he has come back. Peter/Gomez/Arreola their all overweight plodders who walk forward straight into Vitali's jab, alot of the time their walking forward and not throwing a punch :? Vitali is a good counter puncher but the style of these fat plodders is perfect for him. Haye on the other hand couldnt be more different, he's extremely athletic, alot faster than VK, has great power, throws punches from angles you would not expect(look at the first knockdown of Barrett, would you see Peter/Gomez/Arreola able to throw that punch:bart) and also best suited at counter punching, he will not be easy to hit. He waits for the other guy to make a mistake or for an opening. Also his reflexes are more than capable of avoiding most of Vitali's jabs. Haye struggles the most with short guys who put constant pressure on him like fragomeni. All these things together and the fact Vitali is not what he once was are why i believe Haye would not only beat Vitali but make his corner pull him out in the later rounds :deal
Who the **** cares about that stupid vagina named Haye. Arreola is a real man stepping in the ring with Vitali and try it for 10 rounds. Haye is shitting in his pants, because he knows he gets raped.
Haye would have no chance at all. In the immediate aftermath of the fight, I actually thought Haye might finally have a chance. And then I saw the stat of VK throwing 80 punches/round at 38 years old. If VK throws anything close to that against Haye -- and there's no reason to think he couldn't -- and he lands even like 15% of them, Haye would be KO'd/TKO'd. Even if they're jabs. We all remember how Haye said Barrett's jabs felt like a CW's right hands. Imagine being hit by VK for Haye. Haye has no chance against either Klitschko. There might be some small flicker of hope against Wlad, but even that is highly doubtful. VK? No.
I believe chris showed the blueprint on how to beat Vitali, he just was very ineffective and got his ass whipped. There isnt anyone in the division who can beat Vitali now. You need a little guy with speed, good head movement who can get inside on Vitali where he doesnt have that reach, a guy like young Tyson. Chris showed a lot of heart but the difference in skill level was really apparent. He was landing **** all and just praying that eventually Vitali would get tired before he got knocked out, that never happened. He was a dumb ass for coming in so fat when his whole plan was to have better stamina than Vitali. Haye is not going to outbox Vitali on the outside and his defense is absolute ****. His power aint going to bother Vitali because first Vitali doesnt take many shots and when he does he has a solid chin. Haye was flailing around like a fish out of water with Barret, Vitali will counter the living **** out of him and he will get stopped at some point.
I can't get my arms around these "Haye is so fast he will simply evade all of Vitali's punches" theories. a) Haye took far too many punches from much lesser guys than Vitali. Mormeck, Fragomeni, Thompson, Mock, heck even a 38 year old Barrett landed plenty on him. How many hits would Barrett have landed on Vitali? And how many did he land on Haye? How can anyone suddenly argue Haye will be able to avoid ALL OF Vitali's punches? b) Vitali is one of the most awkward punching HWs ever, a guy throwing 100 punches a round when in top shape. Many of Vitali's opponents have reiterated that they don't see half of his punches coming because they are thrown from "impossible" angles. How is Haye who is NOT AN EXPERT at avoiding even the most obvious punches in the first place suddenly going to perform the miracle of bobbin' and weavin' Vitali's punches? Haye would have to completely transform his entire fighting style (crouching in the back, loading up his punches from a distance in a lower position) to even get WITHIN RANGE of hitting Vitali. This entire theory of "Haye will duck all the punches" would completely go against ANYTHING we've seen from Haye in his 23 fights so far. Impossible? No. But highly unlikely. The sad truth is we will never really know because this fight is highly unlikely of ever happening given Vitali's age and Haye's preference of going after the WBA belt.
i really cant see haye beating arreola. haye will land his share but he's going down long before arreola does.
WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!! haye has no heart??! The same guy who went to fight mormeck(in his own backyard), was dropped/slipped and came back to smash the guy. Youre telling me the guy has no heart!! Haye is in essence a counter puncher..if you watch more than one of his fights youll notice he tends to wait for his opponent to make a move before he throws. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3H1_hkRYAk
