How would Henry Akinwande have fared against Marciano's opponents?

    He actually was pretty impressive against Zolkin and Williams though. He really broke Zolkin down using his reach and jab and controlled the fight entirely and he destroyed Jeremy Williams who actually came at him and forced him to be aggressive for a change.

    The guy could fight when in the mood, no doubt.

    That said he'd drop at least one fight if he fought Marciano's opponents. As much as he had the physical tools he could really be pretty poor on occasion. I'm not talking the Lewis fight either. He was ordinary against Johnny Nelson, Schultz, and Jimmy Thunder as well. He had a late start to boxing and learnt and improved on the job at a relatively advanced age and a well rounded pro like Charles, Moore or Walcott doing a number on him wouldn't surprise me at all.
