Regarding Joe, he was an elite guy who walked around at 190 plus pounds, who had to literally starve himself to make SMW. Whereas, Graham fought at JMW and MW, in the days of same day weigh-ins. Of course Joe would have beaten him. Which proves what? Nothing. Because Herol was still a world class fighter, and Joe could not have beaten every elite fighter from the division above.

 

And when did Joe ever fight the calibre of opponents that Herol did?

Herol fought elite guys in their PRIME.

Joe fought absolutely nobody that can compare to fighting guys like Sumbu Kalambay and Mike McCallum.

 

And the fact that he was a JMW/MW in the days of same day weigh-ins, whereas Ward and Kovalev are LHW's, weighing 180 plus on fight night.

he'd school anyone at 154 today and the only fighter at 160 I'd pick to beat him is Golovkin and maybe Jacobs if he came in as big as he did against GGG.
