I think Holmes’ legs would betray him. It might be sort of like the Holyfield fight.

The fight was essentially over when the left hook landed.

Look, you are grasping at straws. Bonavena, Liston and Foreman all had top tier chins and Ali stopped them. Holmes stopped no one that durable. So there is no argument for Holmes hitting harder than Ali.

I don’t think Holmes hit harder then Ali I never said that LOL… no they didn’t ALL have top tier chins at all and there is no evidence to suggest so, unlike Ali and Holmes who did have an iron chin. Foreman vs Lyle exists you know? That was the only time GF fought a puncher in the 70s and it was a skin of his teeth to the brink fight where he was almost stopped FACT…the real iron chinned fighter ate his shots no problemo. Yes Ali was gonna win vs Oscar but I see you slyly tried to ignore the fact the only reason he stopped Bonavena was because he illegally sucker punched him, anyone who has seen the fight and is honest wouldn’t disagree that what transpired was illegal BS and not a real stoppage.

I think he does good, would love to see him in there with Liston. I think he outboxes Foreman. The guy I think would give him the most problems would be a 73 Ken Norton.
