How Would Holyfield Have Done, Against PRIME Jersey Joe Walcott?

Arnold Raymond Cream would have out boxed and picked apart any version of a Holyfield not on steroids. Fair fight , I got Jersey Joe by Knockout. Holyfield on Steroids I got Joe by unanimous decision.

 

You don’t know for sure what Holyfield looks like without PEDs for one and two you should just evaluate Holyfield as he was PEDs or not.

 

This might be the best HW Walcott could beat well the best HW I’d favour him over. Gambling with Evander is a lot safer then the Brown Bomber.

 

Holyfield TKO 9 behind slightly on the cards. Wolcott had a style advantage but Holyfield was just greater imo.

 

It is likely Holyfield-or anyone with his body structure-could easily be a lean 190 clean, & likely 205 just as lean.
Nothing is for sure, but this accords with what is very possible without PEDs, & he had no symtoms, from sudden baldness to heart issues, when that size.

No I should evaluate Holyfield anyway I like.
And it is only fair & rational to consider a match where both parties do not take an unfair, illegal advantage.
It is also more discerning-nobody needs to confine themselves to just what was, nor be told to do so.

Walcott had a big frame, with steroids, or just with weightlifting done properly, he might be better.

 

If the fighters weights were capped at 200lbs I'd favour Walcott.
He, Walcott was trickier than 15 hyper monkeys and the way he got messrs Charles, Louis and Marciano to walk onto his punches was straight out of the "how to set a trap for your opponent" book of boxing.
When was his peak, who knows ?? and I firmly believe that Mr Cream had the handcuffs on in a lot of his early bouts.

 

I think Holyfield's stamina and workrate would give him enough to beat Walcott. I also think Walcott would make him look bad for the first 5 round, but that's not enough to win the fight

Holyfield wasn’t less skilled than Charles. He had every shot in the book an he could throw them in combos. Unlike Charles he wouldn’t have gone 2-2 with Walcott. Would’ve been 4-0

An old Holmes is still way better than an old Walcott
