How would Hopkins fare against Froch?

    What are his chances? Is he too old, or does he still have a few tricks up his sleeve? That's not really what this thread is about though.

    Why do people think the movie Airplane is funny? It wasn't funny and it will never be funny. Why do people keep talking about it as if it was some sort of classic? Overrated I say.

    Also, as much as I like Hopkins, he's too old.

    It may sounds crazy but I think Froch stops him late, Kovalev was being extra cautious and while I think he has a good chin, I doubt its as good as Froch's, Carl would have nothing to worry about and go all out in beast mode and maul Hopkins the moment he thinks he's hurt like he always does, and after the beating Hopkins took against Kovalev he may finally be ripe for the picking.

    i dont like the idea of him dropping weight at his age. i think its a recipe for his first stoppage when u think of froches style mixed with father time and weight management

    the inferior skilled froch will be dominated until Hopkins gasses, then will chase him to make up the win. however unlike calzaghes powederpuff inaccurate blows frochs have the power to stop bern at his age.

    airplane is only not good now because its been mimicked so much, when spoof was young it was pretty good but guys like that Neilson wore the formula down to obscurity (rip les).

    its just a fun film for a night in, not an Oscar winner it never was that.

    :goodI hate Airplane, the disaster movies of the 70's like Towering Inferno Earthquake, Airport, Airport 1975, Airport 77 were all so silly the idea of a parody with Airplane was almost redundant.

    People act like Froch is spring chicken. The man is less than 3 years to turning 40. No way a come forward, slow, flat footed caveman like Froch is beating Hopkins.

    Not exactly like Hopkins is a lightning fast Dirrell like young kid himself. How many times has Hopkins been written off?...... About the same amount that Froch has. Froch is a different animal than Shumenov Cloud and Murat, BHop will hurt badly by The Cobra.

    I've only seen Froch fight of the Back foot ones and that was against the Midget Arthur Abraham. Don't ever call me a fla mo you asswipe.

    Hop is not as fast as Dirrell but he's way faster than Froch even at his advanced age. Styles make fight, and Froch's style is made for other for Hopkins. I'm so sure that Hop will school Froch if Froch ever decides to get in the ring with him that going to bet a grand on Hop.

    Don't take my word for it, listen to Froch. Even he doubts his chances against the old man.
