Hrgovic beat him in the amateurs and would beat him in the pros. Taller, much rangier, much bigger puncher, more skilled, hungrier, mentally much tougher, much dirtier and undefeated. Parker has much more pro experience but is also carrying physical and psychological wear and tear from all of the hard 12 rounders. Parker having much more pro experience with better pro wins and being an ex-world champion will make the odds far closer than they should be. I'll be dumping the truck on Hrgovic if this fight happens.
Parker has the experience, but not the skill or power. Hrgovic has guys avoiding him and for good reason. He's 1 or 2 fights away from a Parker level opponent. He'd probably win now, but next year as in December 2022 his odds of winning increase.
I don't know with HRG atm. Normally I would pick him by stoppage against Parker, but he seems to have regressed.
Hrgovic was eating overhand rights from the shot ghost of nobody Molina. He's a okay-good prospect but I think a fight between Parker and Hrgovic is very competitive. Parker... Well at least the one from the Ruiz fight, has faster hands, faster feet and better lateral movement. The only reason I give Hrgovic a good chance is because Parker gone backwards and doesn't throw enough volume.
Parker is more skilled than Hrgovic. And where's the evidence of Hrgovic's power. Parker was hurting Chisora with every clean landed punch.. Granted Chisora is shopworn
I think Hrgovic would outwork Parker from the halfway mark to be honest. Other than that they should be fairly competetive. Hrgovic 7-3.
