How would Jack Dempsey have done in the 1950s?

    He'd have to fight black fighters so he'd do a lot of climbing out of rings.

    I’m assuming he does fairly well. Especially if he peaks at the right time. Would he dominate the whole era ? Who knows. But it’s reasonable to say he’d be one of the big players

    Depends on when he fought Liston. If prime Dempsey fights the Liston who lost to Marty Marshall, Liston may take a KO loss. By the late 50s, early 60s, I favor Liston by KO

    Dempsey would succeed in any era/ but slick boxers bothered him(Tunney) like they do Alvarez
