    Their Common opponents prove Vitali was better than Wlad.

    Its a pity Wlad wasn't Vitali.

    I never said he wasn't, Suzie.

    I have Wlad inside my top ten and Vitali maybe scr aping top 20.

    But best for best, I'd put more money on Vitali over Joe than the I would Wlad.

    What the hell do you know about the prime Joe Louis ?. His
    offense at his best was a thing of fear and wonderment, not seen before or since...as posted before by me, a top boxing doctop of those days testified ' the human body was not made to take the blows of Joe Louis once he hurt you "..Amen...He feasted on bigger men and he was a killer once he hurt you...And YES sir, contrary to your B.S. Joe Louis was a SUPERSTAR who
    pulverized most of his opponents when at his best...We will never see his likes again in the ring...We in those days absolutely loved
    the great Brown Bomber, so show a little respect and don't be a
    foolish naysayer...The millions of boxing people the world over knew a helluva lot more about Joe Louis than you do today...
    Repent and learn...:hi::hi::hi:

    I stand corrected. Joe Louis was an indomitable superhuman wrecking machine.

    A change of heart, is good to see; Louis was a phenomenon.

    but what if you could somehow splice the DNA of both wlad and Vitali? combining the attributes of them in one body?

    that against joe Louis?

    Of course he was. The old timers and folks who think that being a serious boxing fan means pretending that Louis was perfect and invincible are all still off their rockers though. I'd favor a number of later heavies over him head to head.

    Louis did great against big heavyweights. Especially unskilled ones like there are today.

    "They can run....but they can't hide." He might be "outboxed" in the shortened 12 rd fights, but if the Big Guys of today, stand and fight with Louis, somebody is going to be knocked out....and most likely, not Louis.
