How would Khan fare against Romanov, in a couple of months, do you think?

people can criticize me all they want for saying this but i reckon khan wouldv gotten thaxton out of there much faster then Yuri may be in 3-4 rounds, yuri doesnt have the same work rate and speed as amir. Unless Khans power and defence improves i still take yuri to upset khan

I meant: if Romanov take 4 rounds to get going, Khan wouldn't stop him in 4 rounds, would he?

Yeah...perhaps...and whilst that has to be a good thing if true, it doesn't mean Khan is better or that he would beat Romanov, as you yourself said...

i'm not saying khan will never be able to deal with some one like yuri he needs better fights, yuri doesnt really impress me hes heavy handed thats about it, some one like anthony patterson would put him out in 5.
if khan can beat a decent quality top 20 fighter with a reasonable KO %, i'd pick him to unify the devision.

    I don't know why patterson is...so I won't comment.

Khan is certainly improving and developing.

If it weren't for his obsession with breaking silly records, I wouldn't worry about him at all...

Ro,anov would be a very good fight for Khan.

I think Romanov and Khan would be a 50/50 fight.

Romanov is a good technician and a decent puncher, he certainly will hit Khan. I thought Romanovs performance last night was excellent.

At the moment i would say the fight is a pick em.

The Rominov nuthuggers are out in force!

Khan would have destroyed Thaxton last night. He was way to easy to hit.

    Rominov is quite ordinary tbh.

He does everything good but he does'nt stand out. He's noithing special.

Jim Watt was taling **** last night. Rominov is not world class.

Khan woudl be may to quick and has got too many skills for Romanov.

Thats a very glib interpretation. I think Romanov showed enough to suggest he would be at least competitive with Khan. He punches very accurately, has a tight guard & doesn't waste shots. I think he'd be a very awkwards night work for Amir & it's a fight I would like to see.

Khan would beat Romanov, he is much faster and would totaly dominate. Thaxton proved to be a total bum much as I expected, people claiming Khan was ducking him are stupid.

So speed on its own allows people to totally dominate fights does it? If Thaxton's a total bum what does that make some faceless idiot who posts unfounded nonsense about him on an interent forum then?

This is a very poor post indeed. If you have not got anything decent to say, maybe you should refrain from posting until you have.

very unlikely that khan will be put in with romanov at this stage. he'll become number 1 WBO contender tonight and then either fight nate or wait for the title to become vacant.

romanov is too much of a risk at this stage. he's only 25 years old and has a good 5 years at the top.

That really is a sad indictment on our sport isn't it? The european champion is too dangerous so he'll wait for a "world" title shot instead.
