How is AJ more talented than Lewis?
Lewis hits harder and certainly has better one punch power, not many people have a better straight right than Lewis. Lewis has a far superior jab, better footwork, better defence, far better ring IQ, more heart and didn’t gas out like AJ has done.

Pre the Wlad fight, this fight goes something similar to Lewis v Grant.
The AJ of today, Lewis would probably take longer but still get the job done easily and within 6 rounds imo.

 

Wig, if McCall and Rahman can do it then so can JOSHY.

 

Lewis only lost due to complacency. Let’s assume Lewis is fully switched on like he was for most fights. AJ hasn’t got a chance, other than a Rahman Hail Mary punch.

Ziggie, see your view but think Joshua is bigger, stronger, more skilled, but granted perhaps to vunerable. Would be a brill scrap between two big Brits.

I too watched it live and the scorecards were a fair reflection iirc. I will watch the fight back but from memory Mavrovic never troubled Lewis.

He's bigger, stronger and I think he has the fast combination punching and skills he can really throw those big textbook left hooks. One thing also I would like to throw in there in favour of Joshua is even though people will say he is chinny he hasnt been sparked out by a punch.

 

That last point is the decider. When Joshua went arboad he got waved off. When Lewis went abroad he got banjoed!
