How would Mayorga vs Judah go?

    I was thinking about this today, I think it would be an interesting matchup.

    Id even love to see it in the future if Mayorga could make a decent weight for it 147 or 154.


    How would it go, either then or now?

    Zab if he had stamina or a chin would win but those are big parts of fighting and he doesnt have them. Mayorga for all his faults does have them and would keep coming and eventually hurt Zab and either A finish him off then or Zab would get on his bike and tire himself out even more and just get stopped late.

    So im supposed to believe Zab can KO Mayorga with 1 punch :huh Zab Judah doesnt have nearly the kind of power Oscar De la Hoya or Felix Trinidad have and it took them a million trademark hooks to finish Mayorga off. KOing folks like Wayne Martell and Cosme Rivera arent exactly enough to make me believe he gets iron jawed Mayorga with 1 punch.

    Mayorga would lose all the early round's (Say 1-7)
    then Judah's chin will begin to betray him, and he will do the Dance.
    (Say 9th Rd)

    Mayorga by K.O. 9th RD.

    I really want to see this fight cause I cant decide how it goes. They both have their weaknesses.


    Mayorga does take a lot of punches and Zab has the speed and power so he will connect on him with good shots. But also Zab seems to **** up and get out of his zone and Mayorga puts on lots of pressure and has/had a good chin.

    This would probably happen at 154 and even now mayorga has too much power and durability for Zab to handle. He's simply too small and isn't mentally tough enough to handle him. Although boxing to a UD a la cory spinks isn't totally out of the question. Mayorga is actually one of the few fighters that zab said he would have no part of. He mentioned that he was waiting for him to move up to jr middle so he could take over 147, back when Mayorga was a Welter.

    Zabs faster yet but that speed is nothing when his legs start to move like they are stuck in a bucket of cement and hes getting nailed because hes tired about 4 rounds. Zab doesnt know how to relax in the ring and Mayorga would bully him Mayorga gets off on weak minded guys like Judah just like how he got in Forrest head.

    Mayorga TKO or maybe a stabbing.
    Imagine the prefight buildup!
    Two thugs who have no boundaries going at it.
    I think Mayorga is just to big and strong for Zab.

    :lol: Thats originally how I was thinking of it. I was thinking of the old "what fighters would you want to have your back in a bar fight thread" and I got to thinking about mayorga and zab and then wondering why that fight actually didnt get made in the ring (besides mayorga usually being a weightclass or so higher up)
