How would Naseem have done in a rematch against Barrera if he had trained 100 percent?

I would argue that the Naz that showed up against Robinson would have given a more spirited performance, if not win outright. Naz won 4 rounds the first time, he'd win at least 5 with that sort of spirit.

Naz was not an elite fighter and MAB was. it wouldn't have mattered what he did he always gets dominated by MAB

Yea I agree. I also think Morales and Marquez would have whooped him too.

The sad part is that Barrera took his soul. He hasnt been the same since then.

It made him depressed hence the massive weight gain. He looks totally unrecognizable today.

I think he would have performed better but Barrera seemed to have an answer for everything Naz did. I can't envision Naz dictating the pace and controlling the fight, if he were to win it would be as a result of a fight changing punch that he lands while trailing on the cards.

He seemed to have no answers against Barrera and given MAB's future success, It's likely that it wasn't a fluke.

Yeah, I honestly believe he totally believed his own hype and massive ego. Once he got beaten he got a realitycheck basically and couldnt bounxe back.
I could see a similair thing happen to Fury of he fights Usyk and gets schooled.
I dont wish it on anyone though. Would have been better if Naz had accepted the loss and recovered more decently and was doing commentary with a smile or something.
Better than be obese and depressed fot 20 years

Naz wasn't in bad shape for the fight, it's not like he was gassing. His problem was more an issue with his hands were busted and he'd technically regressed from an awkward counter puncher to just leading with power shots with no real set up for those power shots, making him more predictable. Leaving Ingle definitely made him a worse fighter.

He'd need two good hands, make up with Ingle, rediscover the fire that made him such a sensation and maybe then he'd have given Barrera a real test in the rematch but even then I'd favour Barrera.

Way different he obviously underestimated Barrera probably didn't expect that type of speed and timing could imagine he'd throw more volume and not leave his chin so exposed people go on like it was a 12 round shut out was some tight rounds and Nas won a few rounds

A Naz who stayed hungry, never left the ingle gym and had mayweather hand injections or good hands is the ultimate mythical fighter.

He had better raw ability than Barrera and morales. Mythical Naz vs Pacman would have been amazing.

Hamed was done after the Barrera fight, all you have to do is look at his last fight which was a lackluster affair. Hamed was so poor in that fight he decided to hang up his gloves.

I actually do think a prime Hamed would've done better against Barrera. Alot of people have this myth that Barrera dominated Hamed, when infact Barrera fought an overly cautious fight winning 7 rounds to 4 with an even round because of point deduction.

The early version of Barrera may of been KO'ed by Hamed, we all see what Junior Jones did to Barrera. But overall I think Hamed in the 90s does better against a prime Barrera but still loses.

If he really got depressed off one loss to an ATG he has no heart.
