How would of Andre Ward fared with Adonis stevenson?

Stevenson has a considerable reach advantage and great power in his left. That said I don't think Stevenson is disciplined enough to beat Ward. He drops his hands a lot and Ward would punish him every time for it. I also thing Ward would find a way to take Stevenson's left hand out of the equation. To make matters worse Stevenson is almost 40 so he might not be the same fighter he was 2-3 years ago.

 

Ward frustrates him, outboxes him him and wins a wide UD.

 

Ward wins a wide UD over the one-dimensional Stevenson.

 

I'm from montreal, Adonis has Zero on Ward,

 

I got Ward by decision but given the styles I think Ward has to weather an early storm. If Ward perseveres I think he pulls through, barely. Stevenson might gas out pretty bad late in the fight and that's Ward's ticket to a decision.

 

I'd love to see that fight. Ward probably wins a decision.

Ward would beat him so bad he could be arrested for physical abuse.

 

Ward would have punished him for pimping women for 11.5 rds and then stopped him. Brutally.

I think Ward would have had a good chance of beating Stevenson. Not saying for sure it would have happened but I think he could have pulled it off.

 

Ward beats him. Stevenson was good but too predictable. Ward isn't getting hit flush by Stevenson's left.

 

This was correct then and still correct today. Adonis only had the left hand. He was sneaky how he could land it but his right hand was average at best. Ward would be able to avoid his left in a boring, grindy type fight.
