http://www.ringtv.com/blog/617/how_would_pacquaio_fare_versus_five_alltime_greats/ they match pacquiao against gomez, sanchez, arguello, duran and pryor nice article:good
:rofl Pryor wins a SD. :rofl Pac would be very competitive with Gomez and Alexsis. But would get outboxed by Sanchez, and blown away by Duran and Pryor
He might beat Gomez but thats about it. This will be a good thread to come back to if he looses to Hatton, cause if he does then he definitely isn't beating any of those guys....not even Gomez.
Pacquiao at 122 was a very different fighter. He wouldn't win against Gomez (IMO). Pacquiao at 126 was still fairly one-dimensional. Sanchez would edge him. Pacquiao at 130 was a beast, he could definitely beat Arguello. Both were incredible at the weight, tough to call. Pacquiao at 135 was very impressive, but unproven. At this stage, you can't go against the best lightweight (and top 5 fighter in history). Pacquiao at 140 is yet to be seen, I'll reserve my judgement. But the size difference is unfair. It might seem to be very anti-Pac, but these are facts. Pacquiao at 122 and 126 was nowhere NEAR the fighter he was from Morales III onwards. He'd be competitive with anyone in history from 122-135, but the reality is he wouldn't beat everyone there.... 140 I'll wait and see. Stop claiming that people are haters because they put forth some logic! We're talking about the best fighter from each of those divisions EVER, not a couple of the best from a decade.
Pac v Duran? Are you kidding me. Duran would murder him in my opinion at lightweight. He really would do a number on him and beat him by violent stoppage. Freddie would throw in the towel.
Pac loses to Gomez by TKO at 122 but TKOs Gomez any weight above possibly. Pac gets clearly UD`d or TKOd late by Sanchez.... gets KOd brutally by Arguello & Duran & hurtfully worn down & TKO or KOd by Pryor. In other words, he doesnt beat any of them at their best.
