I have no proof but I will take a shot cuz I have been around the block enough to know...

It is almost impossible to move up in weight and also increase strength speed and agility. He has done all three. Hag, hearns, Duran all moved up in weight and won a lot...but lost power. It's genetics. He isn't just hitting hard shots...he is FLOORING guys with power at much higher weights. RJJ was juiced, Mosley was juiced and many fighters are juiced.

They use some that aren't detected by testing. They can also cycle off season long acting drugs then go to short acting ones closer to fight.

Could he be a genetic freak? Sure. One example is look at his calves. He has HUGE ones and that is something roids will not increase. So he may very well be naturally able to grow and should have been fighting at a higher weight.

It's just a probability thing right? It's rare to increase size and not loose something. He didn't only maintain where he was; he became faster, more powerful and has seemingly taken greater shots.

"steroids don't cause you to take shots better." Well when you are pumped with juice you are more resilient and your body just heals faster so those bumps and bruises at camp will heal much faster. RJJ was a freak athlete who ALSO took steroids which made him even more dynamic. I see it being quite possible that Manny is on them.

Regardless I think Mayweather would beat pac man even when juiced.

Many boxers are probably on roids.

Its a fact that the current testing used is not good enough to catch all types of PED use in Boxing.

By the way i am not saying that pac is actually on roids, i am just saying the testing is not good enought at present.

If you consider "faith hormone" as PEDS, he won't have accomplished all his feats. People tend to understimate that religious belief is a very powerful asset in any sport. Sportmen tend to be more supersticious than the average population.

It's much more complicated than that. Most of the professional athletes out there are not strickly "clean".

At any high level competition, athletes will maximised every aspect of their training and conditionning to gain that very little edge against the adversary.

Same thing can be said about PEDS use. Let me clarify with a very simple example that a chemist teacher told me years ago when i was in College:

When a sample of blood of an athlete is taken for testing, scientists will determine the concentration of specific hormones and molecules; let's say testoterone which is naturally produced by the human body and their concentration in the blood stream is very important (performance wise) for the athlete.

The average level of testoterone for male is between 300-1,000ng/dL. But a drug free athlete would get around 500ng/dL. And this is where the hypocrisis begin: most of the competing athletes have over 800ng/dL of testosterone in their blood. But since they are not over the 1,000ng/dL limit, they can legally compete. Get it? Same thing can be applied with growth hormone, EPO, ...

In general, those who got busted managed poorly their conditionning and let some substances in their blood stream over the concentration limits.
