Tito Trinidad - Wont land his left hook
Thomas Hearns - No gas tank
Shane Mosley - Any version of him loses
Roberto Duran - No Mas, Quits when frustrated
Vernon Forrest - Enough range but not enough skill
Ray Leonard - Good offensively, lacks defence
Oscar De La Hoya - Doesn’t fight for 12 rounds
Pernell Whitaker - This is a close fight 50/50
Julio Cesar Chavez - Walks into straight rights
Manny Pacquiao (147) Was never on Floyd’s level

Leonard and Hearns beat him conclusively.

I also think Pacquiao does him.

He beats Duran, Forrest and JCC

    The rest are pick ems

Chavez was unprven at 147 and would have lost to every fighter on this list at 147, he would never have won a world title at welter. Hearns would have destroyed Floyd, Duran would have battered him too. Leonard would have had problems with Floyd`s style, the only thing that would have helped Ray would have been his reach advantage. Floyd would have beat Whitaker. Manny couldn`t cope with Floyd`s longer jab, he struggle with fighters that had a good, long jab.

Both Floyd and Tito was easy to hit when you had quick hands, Tito`s hooks would be a problem for Floyd but Floyd would land a lot of straight punches and hug his way to a points victory.

Tito would slow him down with a couple of nut shots like he is wont to do then take him out late

Floyd does about what Manny did, about 3 wins.

    Maybe?

He couldn’t have beaten a prime Hearns.

I don’t think anybody here is hating.

    Floyd was a genius.

One of the greatest of all time.

However, everyone has a ceiling. And everyone has a stylistic nemesis.

The greater, more skilled fighter doesn’t always win. Because styles make fights. And that’s the beauty of the sport.

Iran Barkley was nowhere near as talented as Thomas Hearns. But he beat him twice based upon how they matched up stylistically.

If you were to analyse all of the above opponents, you could say that on a P4P basis, in his prime, that Floyd was better than everybody, and should therefore rank higher. I’m not saying that, but somebody could put up an argument for it.

However, we’re not looking at who was the best. We’re looking at how they’d realistically have matched up in H2H fights.

If you were to be objective, there’s no chance that Floyd could have beaten everyone from that list.

You can’t say that he’d just have found a way to win like he always did.

Some of them would have been significant favourites over him.
