good to see you put forward an argument rather than rely on those petty brownie point insults. suits you much better my friend :good

i never suggested judah could have had the attributes to become great - i said he was the most naturally gifted fighter since roy jones.

zab judah is like that beautiful woman who walks into a bar and everybody's head turns...only to find out as the night goes on that she's damaged goods and even if you take her home, everybody knows it isn't really much of a conquest...

if you didn't get so defensive, you'd realise that we're on the same page for the most part.

his "cripplingly poor brain" (as you say it) is exactly why he won't be remembered.

it's always the serial posters who have 30k + posts who seem to be afraid of their own shadow on this board and go into ultra defensive mode before the smoke clears and they realise that you weren't in disagreement with me to begin with.

just so long as i don't reply to those childish taunts, which i never will.

keep up the good posts, because this one was for the most part :good

Prime Zab still had a Glass Jaw and no Heart. None. He wasn't ever an elite fighter. He was a Glass Jawed joke.

he showed nothing that he would KO or beat any of those fighters.

"good to see you put forward an argument rather than rely on those petty brownie point insults."

I don't see where I insulted you, unless you think "sir" or "Max Kellerman" is an insult. :huh I said I found your opinion on this one matter absurd, which is just the truth of my opinion, but that's nothing personally attacking you. Boxing forums aren't the place for thin skin, I don't think, but I'm still rarely intending to be a dick to anyone on purpose. And they usually have to provoke me first or I haven't been dosed properly with my opiate-laced Metamucil.

"if you didn't get so defensive, you'd realise that we're on the same page for the most part."

You feel he was the most naturally gifted fighter since RJJ and could've been among the very best. :conf I couldn't be much farther from that page, obviously, so I don't see where the sameness is coming in, but okay.

"i never suggested judah could have had the attributes to become great"

    But earlier you said:

"but he could have been among the very best "

:blood So, in order to become among the very best, you don't believe you'd have to have the attributes to become great? Interesting.

"i said he was the most naturally gifted fighter since roy jones."

Okay, well, I broke down for you what I thought of him as far as how gifted he was naturally, physically (what else could it be, with Zab?) and asked you what you found so impressive about him that would compare with Roy or make him physically better than anyone since, but you've not yet told me. As they apparently warrant you to rating both his potential and his "natural" ability incredibly high. I'm still curious.

"it's always the serial posters who have 30k + posts who seem to be afraid of their own shadow on this board and go into ultra defensive mode before the smoke clears and they realise that you weren't in disagreement with me to begin with.

    "

 I don't feel like I'm being defensive, I'm just talking. Perhaps you're taking this more seriously than myself and picking up on things I'm not. And, I'm not attempting to taunt. I'm only discussing to try and nail down where the Judah legends seem to originate for everyone. Much like an anthropologist studying American Indian tribes to find out where the Sasquatch thing came from. They know there's no way he exists, but he's so dangerous and illusive. :yep

i'm not taking it seriously, champ.
i just want to come and talk boxing when i have the time to do it.

all i'm saying is it's easy to pick the online warriors who talk the fight game but don't participate.

pretend you're talking to someone face to face

:huh Again, what did I see that you found insulting? What don't you think I'd say in person? If you mean blue laughing emoticons, I'll tell you right now, I can verbalise every ****ing one of them. I'm not bullshitting. I speak in emoticons on demand. Since you're talking boxing, perhaps answer my question about what you found so special about Judah as a total physical package that prompts you to declare he was the most physically gifted fighter since RJJ. Again, I broke down my thoughts on him physically and why I found him not all that special and now I'd like your thoughts on why you think he was, instead of conjuring up baffling implications regarding my own personality, yeah?

I don't know about what your daily face-to-face encounters entail. I'm personally prone to ask people questions when they make statements that are highly contrary to what I believe to be reality, and occasionally laugh if I find their statements amusing. Now, I don't think that qualifies as childish taunting or a keyboard warrior attitude. But, then again maybe "quizzical" is a trait of some kind of tough guy where you come from? For instance, perhaps all five-year-olds are really macho for going "Why is the sky blue?", "Why were you wrestling with mommy under the covers?", "Why did you say nasty words to the postman?", "Why does mommy say nasty words to the postman with her shirt off?", etc. :blurp

    here's the difference...

to you this is brownie points and it counts for something

    to me...

it's another anonymous online virgin who is welcome to come to my gym and try that same smugness face to face.

you're on this board because you got pushed around at school and this is your middle ground for failing to reach manhood or standing up for yourself when it counted.

water off my back sunshine. seen it before and i'll see it again

I do agree about the balls-aunt-uncle thing. If Zab had the chin and will of Chavez Jr, never mind Sr, he would've been an elite fighter instead of being what he is, a very special B fighter. Sad really.

Tyson hit his peak as a fighter 2-3 years after Cus died.

Anyway, Zab probably beats them all except maybe Bradley. You look at Zab's physical gifts: blazing hand speed, good power, quick reflexes, some nice fluidity, and think he smokes Bradley. But Timmy the Head is a smarter, mentally tougher fighter who is good at adapting. Early on, I didn't think Zab would be a front runner, the way he rose from KDs to beat Bergman and Millette, or got hurt against Ward and then came back and finished strong. But Zab later on showed how he could fall apart mentally, go into a shell when he was tasting leather. I ride the fence on this one.

LOL, I can envision that one.....Katsidis beating on Zab for about 4 or 5 rounds and then Bam! swooping left uppercut from Zab the shakes Kats world to the bone and for a split second exposing his inner aborigine before falling asleep on the canvas.

Let's face it, Boxed. You are the oldest, angriest virgin I've ever seen. And even though it's ironic, you're all smug about it too.

If Zab were to fight them 4 opponents in his prime I'd expect him to lose no more than one fight, however either of them could have beat him

Zab Judah should of been with Floyd Senior from the start, not Yoel.

Yoel : Zab, you gotta do the BOOM BOOM BAP, Larry Merchant over there talking **** about you! Just go in and give the EURGH EURGH BAP BOOM BAHHH!, out you go son.'
