How would Ricky Hatton done against Brook

He would just fight dirty.

 

He'd have probably fought someone else instead.

 

Indeed, someone like Floyd Mayweather or Manny Pacquiao.

 

Let's get it right, Ricky is on a completely different level to Matthew, no disrespect to Matthew there. But it would have been a completely different fight and I think stylistically, Ricky could cause Brook a lot of problems.

I'd strongly favour Ricky to win in this one.

@ 140 Ricky was the man, and @ 147 only the elite beat him.

 

Hatton stops him.

 

Ricky stops him midway. Doubt Brook could handle that kinda inside pressure.

 

Hard fight but Kell counter punches Ricky to a points win.

Ricky would have more success with his aggresive style but he would be more open and i think Brook could stop him. Matt is pretty durable.

Ricky is the better fighter no doubt but his style, while being more successful would also be more open. If that makes sense.

 

Tough fight. Brook is unproven at this level, and the chances are Ricky's underrated footwork cuts him down and smothers him, putting him in places he's never been close to.

BUT, Hatton wasn't good at welter. Especially against handspeed which was his achilles heal. It's very easy to see him walking into jabs and counterpunches so for that reason even though Brook's unproven to a large degree I'd say its a pick'em.

At this stage. Knowing what we know so far. I have to say Ricky Hatton beats him. We've never seen Brook carried quicker than he wants to be carried.
