    Michael Spinks
    Bob Foster
    Matthew Saad Muhamed
    Dwight Braxton
    Eddie Mustafa Muhamed
    Archie Moore
    Billie Conn
    Ezzard Charles
    Marvin Johnson

These are all great fighters at Light Heavyweight. They all had different styles and would pose different types of threats. How do you think RJJ would do against them all?

Interesting. I would think the Spinks, Foster, Braxton, Conn, and Charles would all beat him.

I dont think anyone could beat Jones at his best. He was just too fast. Most of his career in his prime he didnt even lost rounds. Compare that to Floyd, who seems to drop a lot of rounds in a fight, and it shows just how good Roy was. He definitely should have retired after the Ruiz fight.

Charles, Spinks, and Foster can and probably would beat him. Charles would have the most trouble though, even though he is the arguably the greatest ever at that weight.

Jones may be unbeatable at his best. But he was never at his best at LHW. All the other fighters give Jones trouble, except Conn IMO, who's a great fighter but I think Jones simply blasts him.

I can't see Jones at his best loseng at 175. I rember Lary Merchant said something like He hits hard and he's hard to hit. To describe Jones Jr.

Jones never ever ran. He always created space that allowed him to time you and made others unable to time him. Also, entering that space meant you would get hit by him very fast and very hard before you got a shot off sometimes. But Jones never ran....PBF almost never does either.

Well I don't agree that Jones had a secret glass beard because I saw Jones get hit. Hopkins certainly caught him flush with that sneaky right hand a few times to no avail. But no one can prove a negative, and we never really saw Jones hurt until he was 34.

But Jones didn't slug it out much. I would point out that most fighters would probably a little more hesitant to do so with Jones who's power was well known, than PBF who has sneaky power. PBF hurts you with his insance accuracy more than power. Jones put a few guys out cold. Different styles really. Both ATG....

Jones KO.5 Braxton! This has to be the most ridicules thing I have ever read on here. Michael Spinx couldn't even hurt Braxton when they fought, and Evander Holyfield couldn't hurt him in their first fight @ 190! It was only when Braxton got old that he got KO'd by Holyfield in their 2nd fight. Now you are trying to tell me that Jones who couldn't KO guys like Julio Gonzalez and Lou DelValle would KO Braxton at 175. Think again buddy and stop being such a Jones kiss ass!

I look at the first Montell Griffin fight and look at all the trouble he gave Jones. Braxton (aka Qawi) was ten times better than Montell and would have pressured RJJ and worked his body. I don't think Roy would have been able to stand in fron of Dwight.
