curious here , lee is a quality fighter , but imo not on the level of pavlik williams or macklin, barring the **** test issues , how do you feel sergio would have aquitted himself against this same foe ?

Late stoppage or easy UD victory.

****, I still have to watch Chavez vs. Lee...

Anyway, based on prior form I'd be extremely hesitant to pick any version of Chavez or Lee against Martinez.

Chavez looked like the real deal against Lee. I haven't seen a fighter work his body punches down and up like that since his father was in the ring. I still think Martinez' mobility will be too much for him.

Yeah, I've heard most people say it was utter bull**** for Lee to have been up on the cards at the time of the stoppage? :think

Of course, on the other hand, people were dropping spoiler comments in the RBR thread for Adamek vs. Chambers (which happened simultaneously...which is why I still haven't seen Chavez vs. Lee...) and a few of them were things like "Damn, Chavez has some chin!" - so I'm guessing Lee had some success early...or at least was landing some bombs here and there?

Anyway, I doubt seeing it will change my mind about Martinez vs. either one of them.

Lee looked slow and fragile in there. Martinez is pretty much a patient guy. I think he'd have knocked him out around the same time as Chavez... Maybe take a couple more rounds.
