Pavlik, in spite of what most think, was able to cut the ring off on Martinez. It was doing something with that during the first four rounds that was a problem because Martinez was just looking to counter punch. I don't see Jr doing as well keeping Martinez where he needs him to be. Martinez still packs one hell of a punch and I just don't see Jr. walking through them to impose his will. Pavlik admits in the 9th he got lazy with a punch and we see what happened to him.

    Lee/Martinez is a COMPLETELY different type of fight for Lee. . . It's a lot easier, IMO. . .

Not necessarily to "win", but as far as getting pressured, and knocked out, I doubt he would. . .

Sergio would probably win a 12 round decision, similar to how he beat Pavlik - Lee would outbox him with the longer jab for a few rounds, timing Sergio, but Sergio's speed, and natural abilities would take over. .

116-112 Martinez UD in a chess match type fight, but with some limited exchanges, and clean shots, etc. . .

Chavez is a completely different animal, and is THE WORST style for a guy like Lee. . .

And Lee is better than Macklin, and I think Lee sparks out Williams to. . .

BUt he's a level below Pavlik overall - he's a better boxer/outside fighter, but Pavlik's punch, and stamina make him overall a level above.
