Stevenson has very quick hands and great power but I think he has a 50 cent gas tank. Stevenson vs Ward might look a lot like Kovalev vs Ward Stevenson vs Kovalev could be great fun I feel like both Ward and Kovalev should be favourites over him but he's a live underdog
I'd just like to see Stevenson fight a quality fighter. Something he doesn't seem interested in doing!
In my honest opinion, he gets outclassed by both. Ward coasts to a points win or late stoppage, and Sergey gets him out of there before or around the midway point.
He would have a chance to KO both, as he packs a mean punch. But I don't give him more than a puncher's chance against Ward or Kovalev, both of whom have better skill sets, superior conditioning, and higher ring IQs.
I like Stevenson but he needs to shut the hell up, he's not in the class of both of these men. Keeps talking, but doesn't fight top guys. He's slowly losing me as a fan. And by slowly I mean very quickly.
Hard to say. Styles fights etc. but both beat him handily (though he has 1 punch power so can't be completely discounted). His signature win (Dawson) was destroyed by Ward IMO.
Why do so many of you think that Ward is going to KO someone? Every time this topic comes up people are all "Ward by late stoppage!", when has he shown that he could do that? Even at his peak he hasn't displayed that.
